I. God Calls Us to Serve Him 神呼召我們服侍祂

– 1 Samuel 撒上9:2  And he had a son whose name was Saul, a handsome young man. There was not a man among the people of Israel more handsome than he. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people.  他有一個兒子，名叫掃羅，又健壯，又俊美，在以色列人中沒有一個能比他的，身體比眾民高過一頭。

– 1 Samuel撒上13:14  But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”  現在你的王位必不長久。耶和華已經尋著一個合他心意的人，立他做百姓的君，因為你沒有遵守耶和華所吩咐你的。」 ¹

– 1 Samuel撒上16:6-7  ⁶ When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him.” ⁷ But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”  ⁶ 他們來的時候，撒母耳看見以利押，就心裡說：「耶和華的受膏者必定在他面前。」 ⁷ 耶和華卻對撒母耳說：「不要看他的外貌和他身材高大，我不揀選他。因為耶和華不像人看人，人是看外貌，耶和華是看內心。」

– Psalm 詩51:1-2   ¹ Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.  ² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,  and cleanse me from my sin!  ¹ 神啊，求你按你的慈愛憐恤我，按你豐盛的慈悲塗抹我的過犯！² 求你將我的罪孽洗除淨盡，並潔除我的罪！

II. God Calls Us to Serve Others神呼召我們服侍人

– Mark 可10:45  For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”   因為人子來並不是要受人的服侍，乃是要服侍人，並且要捨命做多人的贖價。」

– John 約13 – “If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet… Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than His master.”   你們的主、你們的夫子，尚且洗你們的腳，你們也當彼此洗腳。            我實實在在地告訴你們：僕人不能大於主人，差人也不能大於差他的人。

– Expectation預料中: Do you only serve when you expect something in return? Do you serve expecting to receive in return? 有回報才服侍嗎？你的服侍期盼回報嗎？

– Favoritism最想服侍的: Do you only serve people who are easy for you to serve? Do you serve only when it is comfortable or convenient for you?  只想服侍容易服侍的人嗎？只在你感覺良好，合適你的時間、場合才服侍嗎？
