Many Thanks to church members and friends At the recent Chinatown Service Center Fundraising event, more than $7000 was raised.  We appreciate last month’s and the ongoing support to this outreach ministry of the church.

Special Guest Speaker Rev. Winston Chiu, Director of the Mission Center at China Evangelical Seminary, will speak at the combined Chinese Service on October 4, 2026 at 10:30 am. Rev. Chiu has spent many years serving faithfully as a missionary in remote areas and is a respected voice in missions. Holy Communion will be postponed and celebrated on October 11 at Chinese service.

Annual Clean-Up / Freshening of the Church – October 10, 2026, 9 am – 12 noon.  The Trustee Committee will be conducting a church-wide clean-up to make God’s house a welcoming place. Our plan is to clear space as our church community continues to grow and modernize, and tidy up the front yard for the fall season. We would love everyone to join us! Our plan is to complete by 12:00 with a luncheon to cap off everyone’s hard work.  See Steve Wong if you have questions.

Thanks for your patience Our church building is more than 160 years old and many of its HVAC systems are showing their age.  Please be patient as we wait on parts and scheduling for the repairs. Contributions to the Building Fund are also welcome.

Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund.  Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be October 8.Translators are provided.  You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

親愛的弟兄姊妹：主內平安。在這充滿恩典的夏季，讓我們一同來到父神面前，帶著感恩與謙卑的心，向祂獻上我們的禱告與祈求：

恩典代禱：為牧者守望：為徐麗娟牧師禱告 求神按手在約安娜牧師身上，挪去她身體上的任何疾病與疼痛，使她能繼續喜樂地事奉。

特別講員：邱顯正牧師 中國福音神學院宣教中心主任牧師，將於2026年10月4日上午10:30在聯合中文崇拜中證道。Winston Chiu牧師多年忠心服事，曾在偏遠地區宣教，並在宣教事工上有豐富的服事經驗，是一位深受尊重的宣教同工。原定當日舉行的聖餐禮將延期至10月11日舉行。

 

誠摯感謝教會弟兄姊妹及各位朋友的支持與奉獻 在日前舉行的華埠服務中心籌款活動中，共籌得超過$7,000。衷心感謝大家在上個月以及持續以來，對教會這項外展事工的支持。願神紀念大家的愛心與擺上，並繼續賜福CCC教會及這項服事。

教會年度大掃除／整理教會環境 時間為2026年10月10日上午9:00 至中午 12:00。理事會將舉辦全教會大掃除，好讓神的殿成為一個充滿溫馨迎賓氛圍的地方。隨著我們教會社群的不斷成長與現代化，我們的計劃是騰出更多空間，並在秋季整理好前院。我們熱切期盼大家一起來參與！預計於中午12:00完成，隨後以感恩餐會為大家的辛勞劃下圓滿句號。如有任何問題，歡迎向Steve Wong詢問。
