Prayers – December 7, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
During this season of Advent, in a world filled with turmoil, grant us the tranquility that only your peace can bring. Help us to be instruments of reconciliation and harmony in our relationships and communities.
Thank you, LORD….
● for bringing me to You through the gospel of Jesus. Please help me share that good news with others.
● for coming into the world to die for our sins. Out of His great love, He died in order for us to live (John 3:16-17)
● for the lights of the Christmas season which remind us that Jesus is the Light of the World.
● for healing of brothers and sisters in CCC
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● to choose to release unforgiveness and take steps towards understanding, forgiveness, and kindness through unity with the Holy Spirit, just as God through Christ has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:3, 32
● walking in the light where God is, freed from stumbling and sin and connected to other believers through the blood of Jesus. 1 John 1:7
● maintaining God’s perspective, that we are here for one purpose – to destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. By our example of obedience to Christ, may we teach others to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
● living out God’s purpose for us as a display of His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● that we have nothing but love and unity within our families during this Advent season
● that our loved ones do not succumb to sickness and stress during this hectic time
● that You help our young children make good decisions when the world teaches positivity towards things that we forbid. Help them to discern God’s voice and be courageous to follow.
● for CCC going through the difficult task of discerning the pastor God has called to shepherd the Chinese congregation
● for our cross-cultural workers who struggle with daily challenges
● for those around the world who yearn for peace

臨到節禱告: 在這臨到節的時期，在一個充滿動盪的世界中，求主賜給我們唯有主祢的平安才能帶來的安寧。幫助我們成為和解與和諧的器皿，在我們的關係和社群中傳揚和平。
感謝祢，主啊……
● 主藉著耶穌的福音帶領我到主祢面前。求主幫助我將這好消息分享給他人。
● 主祢降臨世上，為了我們的罪而捨命。出於祂的大愛，祂為我們而死，好讓我們能得生命。– 約翰福音 3:16-17
● 聖誕節的燈光，提醒我們耶穌是世上的光。
● 主祢醫治CCC弟兄姊妹的身心靈。
主啊，願祢在我們生命中成就祢的旨意。即使我們常想掌控生命的每個層面，仍求主祢引導我們更像耶穌……
● 願我們選擇釋放不饒恕，並邁出理解、寬恕與仁慈的步伐，藉著與聖靈的合一，就如同神藉著基督已經赦免了我們。– 以弗所書4:3,32
● 願我們行在神的光中，脫離絆倒和罪惡，並透過耶穌的寶血與其他信徒連結。– 約翰一書 1:7
● 願我們保持神的視角，明白我們活著的唯一目的:拆毀一切驕傲的障礙，使人能認識神。藉著順服基督的榜樣，教導他人順服基督。– 哥林多後書10:5
● 願我們活出神為我們預備的旨意，彰顯祂的巧工，我們在基督耶穌裡被造，為行善事，就是神早已預備叫我們行的。– 以弗所書2:10
我們為CCC的弟兄姊妹以及在教會以外的人禱告，求神那良善、聖潔、可喜悅的旨意得以成全，即使我們不明白祂工作的過程或結果……
● 願我們在這將臨節期間，家庭中充滿愛與和諧。
● 願我們所愛的人在這繁忙時節，不致受疾病和壓力所困。
● 為CCC在尋求神所呼召牧養中文會眾的牧師過程中禱告。
● 為我們跨文化服事的弟兄姊妹，面對日常挑戰時禱告。
● 為全世界渴望平安的人禱告。
