Prayers – August 24, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
● for the faithful leadership of our pastors even as they experience personal challenges
● for bearing our burdens
● for the summer harvest
● for building our character as we go through difficult situations
● for knowing our names
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● controlling our words, actions, and attitudes to avoid undesirable consequences. Proverbs 22:3
● developing the inner strength to withstand stress so that God’s work is always accomplished. Galatians 6:9
● expressing the joy in our souls through rejoicing, prayer and giving thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-16
● seeing situations as God does and working in harmony to accomplish His will. Hebrews 11:1
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for Selena and Bryan and their family as they answer your call to serve You in the Philippines
● that the hearts of those who negotiate peace will be softened
● for new believers to have the support and resources necessary to deepen their faith
● that the world may see God by our love in action
● for energy and enthusiasm for our children going back to school

感謝主……
● 為牧師們在面對個人挑戰時，仍然忠心帶領我們。
● 主替我們背負重擔。
● 主賜下夏日的收成。
● 主在困境中塑造我們的品格。
● 主認識我們的名字。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 控制我們的言語、行為和態度，以避免不良後果。（箴言22:3）
● 培養內在的力量來承受壓力，使神的工作能夠持續完成。（加拉太書 6:9）
● 以神的眼光看待環境，並齊心合意成就祂的旨意。（希伯來書 11:1）
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 為Selena和Bryan回應主祢的呼召前往菲律賓服事主及其家庭禱告。
● 為新信徒能夠得到所需的支持與資源，以加深他們的信心。
● 求主讓世人能因我們的愛心行動而看見神。
● 為孩子們重返校園能有充沛的精力與熱情禱告。
