Prayers – March 9, 2025

Prayers

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

During this season of Lent, may we devote extra time in prayer, repentance, fasting and reflection on what Jesus has done for us in being our “sacrifice” for the atonement of our sins.

Thank you, Lord….

• that You never forget or abandon us. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:8
• for your guidance in making decisions
• for your words of encouragement supporting us when we stumble. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9
• for being the sunshine in our lives. For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11
• for the first flowers popping up from the ground even as the cold days of winter linger on

Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….

• Help us to reflect the light of Jesus in all we do. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. John 12:46
• Help us to take on the character of Jesus: clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3:12-13
• Lead us to love You, Father, as Jesus did: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind  Matthew 22:37
• You who are mighty to save,pardon us from past sins, give us courage to resist all present temptations and protection against all evils to come. May we experience the victory of your resurrection power and connect others who face their own troubles and temptations to your saving grace.

 We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be               accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….

• for peace in our hearts, among our loved ones, in our nation and in our world
• for those experiencing sadness
• for wisdom to avoid fraudulent tricks
• for perseverance to stick to our quiet times with our Father, especially during Lent
• for those who suffer for sharing the Gospel
• that God will guide the pastoral search and help us discern what CCC should look like when it turns 100
• for each of us to respond to opportunities to serve

感謝主 …

• 主祢從不忘記或離棄我們。「耶和華必在你前面行，他必與你同在，必不撇下你，也不丟棄你；不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。」申命記 31:8
• 主在我們做決定時的引導。
• 主祢的話語，在我們跌倒時扶持我們。「我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。」約翰一書 1:9
• 主成為我們生命中的陽光。「因為耶和華神是日頭，是盾牌，要賜下恩惠和榮耀，祂未嘗留下一樣好處，不給那些行動正直的人。」詩篇 84:11
• 儘管冬日的寒冷仍在，地面上已開始綻放第一朵花。

主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…

• 求主幫助我們在所行的一切事上反映出耶穌的光。「我到世上來，乃是光，叫凡信我的不住在黑暗裡。」約翰福音 12:46
• 求主幫助我們活出耶穌的品格：「所以，你們既是神所揀選的，聖潔蒙愛的人，就要存憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此包容，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。」歌羅西書 3:12-13
• 求主帶領我們像耶穌那樣愛祢：耶穌對他說：「你要盡心、盡性、盡意愛主你的神。」馬太福音 22:37
• 主是大能拯救者，求主祢赦免我們過去的罪，賜我們勇氣抵擋當前的試探，並保護我們免受未來的邪惡。願我們經歷祢復活的大能，也能引導那些身陷困境與試探的人來到祢的救贖恩典中。

我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。

• 求主賜我們內心的平安，使我們的家人、國家和世界都充滿和平。
• 為那些正在經歷悲傷的人祈禱。
• 求主賜我們智慧，以避免欺詐手段。
• 求主賜我們恆心堅持與天父的安靜時光，尤其是在四旬齋期間。
• 為那些因傳揚福音而受苦的人祈禱。
• 求神引領我們招求牧者的所有過程，並幫助我們辨識CCC在100週年時應當成為的樣貌。
• 求主感動我們每個人回應服事的機會。
