Prayers – February 23, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● that everything is under your control especially when we feel everything is out of our control
● for the rest You bring to our souls
● for blessing us with Your protection, graciousness, and peace. Numbers 6:24-26
● for our daily bread
● for brothers and sisters who comfort us in our times of need
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Help us to be godly. “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” 1 Timthy 4:8
● Help us to do more yielding to God’s purposes of witnessing and living for Him and less striving to do our own thing. When Jesus died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Romans 6:10-11
● Remind us to act on what You have taught. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves…. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. James 1:22-25
● Remind us in all things and to all people we are to demonstrate love. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Ephesians 5:2
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those with ongoing health concerns
● for those in mourning
● for those who have suffered loss during storms and war
● that we may have the courage and find the right words to share the Good News with a family member
● that God will guide CCC as she looks for a new pastor
● that our nation’s leaders will seek God’s will as they govern for the good of the people

禱告事項
“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
• 掌管一切，尤其在我們感覺萬事失控之時。
• 給我們在靈魂上因信靠你而得到安息。
• 以祢的保護、恩典與平安祝福我們。（民數記 6:24-26）
• 供應我們每日的食糧。
• 賜給我們在困難時施安慰的弟兄姊妹。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 求主幫助我們成為敬虔的人。“操練身體益處還少，唯獨敬虔，凡事都有益處，因有今生和來生的應許。”（提摩太前書 4:8）
• 求主幫助我們更多順服祢的旨意，作祢的見證與為祢而活，而不是一味地追求自己的計劃。當耶穌死時，“他死是向罪死了，只有一次；他活是向神活著。這樣，你們向罪也當看自己是死的；向神，在基督耶穌裡，卻當看自己是活的。”所以，你們也當看自己與罪的權勢已斷絕，並藉著基督耶穌活著。（羅馬書 6:10-11）
• 求主提醒我們把祢的教導活出來。“你們要行道，不要單單聽道，自己欺哄自己。因為聽道而不行道的，就像人對著鏡子看自己本來的面目，看見，走後，隨即忘了他的相貌如何。唯有詳細察看那全備、使人自由之律法的，並且時常如此，這人既不是聽了就忘，乃是實在行出來，就在他所行的事上必然得福。”（雅各書 1:22-25）
• 求主提醒我們，在一切事上以及對待每一個人，都要彰顯愛心。“也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當做馨香的供物和祭物獻於神。”（以弗所書 5:2）
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 求主顧念那些身體狀況持續欠佳的人。
• 求主安慰那些正處於哀悼中的人。
• 求主顧念那些在暴風和戰爭中遭受損失的人。
• 求主賜予我們勇氣，並賜我們合適的言辭，讓我們能向家人分享福音。
• 求主引導 CCC 在尋找新牧師的一切環節。
• 求主帶領我們國家的領袖在治理百姓福祉時，尋求祢的旨意。
