Joint Christmas Worship, December 22, 2024, 4th Sunday of Advent
All congregations will worship together in the sanctuary. Translation headsets will be available for Cantonese and Mandarin translation. Pastor Joshua will give the message.

Fellowship hour with lunch hosted by Mingguang Zhang in the Hung Memorial Hall will be at 12:10 pm. Please be in the lunch line by 12:30 pm.

Continued Prayer Request for healing for Mandarin Pastor Joanna Xu as she continues with a lighter chemotherapy regimen. Thank God for strengthening her with his power and love.
Pastor Joshua Cho will be on vacation during the week and return next Sunday.
Christmas Eve Worship Opportunity – Grace DC welcomes CCC folks to join their service at 5 pm in CCC sanctuary on December 24.
Winter Youth Retreat: 6th-12th graders at CCCDC are invited to participate in a time of fellowship, learning God’s Word, and growing together as a family in Christ from January 31 – February 2nd, 2025 at Skycroft Conference Center in Middletown, MD. Attention College and Young Adults (18-25) – Mission Conference Opportunity The first Ethnos Conference will be held January 10-11, 2025. Please contact Pastor Josh or check the flyer on the bulletin board for more details. 
Canned Food Drive – Thank you to those who contributed to the canned food drive for Central Union Mission last week and today. Collection boxes are in the narthex and fellowship hall. If you forgot canned goods, we would forward any financial gifts you give today.
Shoes for the Homeless Drive has been extended through January 26. Please bring new or gently used shoes to provide protection, dignity and improved quality of life for homeless individuals whose shoes may be held together by duct tape or missing altogether. See flyer and the collection box at the church entrance.
Please Keep Our Church Neat! Many items have been found throughout the church that are not needed for ministry – water bottles, clothing, bags of stuff, toys, books, etc. We will be placing these items in a Lost and Found box in Room 101 of the Fellowship Hall. After two weeks the items will be discarded. This also applies to food in the refrigerator – please mark items with name and date or they will be tossed!
Wi-Fi Password will be changed on January 1, 2025 and restricted for those who need it for church ministries per Trustees. We often find over 75 people logged into the Wi-Fi which slows down the system when we need it for worship services. Those who need the wi-fi to operate their church program should request the new password from info@cccdc.com with name and ministry use. You are asked not to share the password, and when not needed for a ministry program, you are asked to disconnect.
PRE-DATED BOXED OFFERING ENVELOPES FOR 2025 are available for distribution. Please contact Helen Wong, Rita Wong or treasurer@cccdc.com if you would like a box.
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the official workplace-giving campaign for the federal community. It allows federal employees and retirees to support the causes they care about by giving to their charity (or charities) of choice from the thousands participating. Our church’s Chinatown Service Center is one of the charities on their list. Use code #34868 to designate. Non-federal workers may still support the Service Center with a donation made to Chinatown Service Center through the church.
Free Parking at PMI Parking lots on Saturdays and Sundays for Church Events 900 New York Avenue. Obtain a validation stamp at church. Enter on 9th Street. PMI Garage at 600 Mass Ave – church paid arrangement for those who need to have a closer option for parking. For either lot, please make sure you pick up a validation stamp or follow-up ticket at the front door from security or greeters. Street parking is also free on Sundays. ● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting. Please note the change in day from Monday to Tuesday (sharing Mandarin Prayer Meeting time slot). We invite you to join together as a church family for prayer in our next virtual meeting on January 7, 2025 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction. You may pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. You may come any time during the hour.

Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account (not a credit card) or using the PayPal Giving Fund. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be January 2, 2024. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

罐裝食品捐贈活動 感謝上週和今天為Central Union Mission 罐頭食品捐贈活動做出貢獻的弟兄姐妹。收集箱放置在教會門廳和團契廳。如果您忘記帶罐頭食品，我們可以接受您今天的金錢奉獻並轉交給該機構。
為無家可歸者提供鞋子捐贈活動 此活動已延長至2025年1月26日。請捐贈全新或輕微使用過的鞋子，為無家可歸者提供保護、尊嚴和更好的生活品質。他們的鞋子可能已經破損不堪甚至缺失。詳情請參閱教堂入口處的宣傳單和收集箱。
保持教會整潔 教會內發現許多與事工無關的物品——如水瓶、衣物、袋子、玩具、書籍等。我們將把這些物品放在團契廳101室的「失物招領箱」內。若兩週後未被領取，這些物品將被丟棄。此外，冰箱中的食物請標註姓名和日期，否則將被清理丟棄。
Wi-Fi密碼更改通知 教會的Wi-Fi密碼將於2025年1月1日更改，僅限需要使用Wi-Fi從事教會事工的會眾。管理委員會發現常有超過75人連接Wi-Fi，導致系統運行緩慢，影響敬拜活動的使用需求。如需使用新密碼，請發送電子郵件至info@cccdc.com，註明姓名及事工用途。請勿將密碼分享給他人，若非事工需要，請斷開連接。

聯合聯邦運動 (CFC) 是聯邦社區的官方工作場所捐贈運動。它允許聯邦員工和退休人員從數千家參與的慈善機構中挑選一家進行捐贈，以支持他們關心的事業。本教會的中國城華埠服務中心是其名單上的慈善機構之一。使用代碼 #34868 進行指定。非聯邦工作人員仍可通過教會向中國城華埠服務中心捐款來支持服務中心。
