Prayers – November 17, 2024
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for your presence being the source of our joy. Psalm 16:11
● for your glorious works – those demonstrated throughout Scripture, history, and the ways we see you at play today.
● for being the constant light that shows us your path
● for being a God of endless possibilities even when we are quick to judge things impossible
● for crisp, cool mornings
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● God has given each of us a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Help us to use them well to serve one another. 1 Peter 4:10
● Remind us that all gifts come from our heavenly Father and that You love a cheerful giver. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
● Fill us with the healing power of your spirit. Open any blockages and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection of body or mind. Let the warmth of your healing love pass through our bodies so that they will function the way You created them to function. Restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life. Psalm 30:2
● Help us to keep ourselves in touch, not with theories, but with people, so that we may have an opportunity to share the hope of salvation with everyone.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for small group Bible studies to continue to build the foundation of the church as they gain wisdom and knowledge of the Scriptures
● for Christians in China facing persecution
● for our missionaries leading on-going Bible study training classes
● for those suffering from painful and limiting health conditions
● for those whose hearts do not have peace
● for those mourning the loss of loved ones
● for those suffering at the hand of others’ wickedness

● 因為祢的榮耀作為——祢在聖經、歷史以及我們今日所見中所展示的作為。
● 因為祢是那永恆的光，指引我們前行的道路。
● 因為當我們迅速判定事情不可能時，主祢卻是那無限可能的神。
● 因為清新涼爽的晨光。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 神賜給我們每個人來自祂多樣的屬靈恩賜。幫助我們善用這些恩賜來彼此服事。彼得前書4:10
● 提醒我們所有恩賜來自我們在天上的父，主愛那甘心樂意給予的人。神會慷慨供應我們一切所需，使我們常常擁有豐足，並有餘分享給他人。哥林多後書9:7-8
● 求主以祢聖靈的醫治大能充滿我們。打開一切阻塞，重建任何受損的地方。除去所有的發炎，清潔身心的任何感染。讓主醫治之愛的溫暖流遍我們全身，使身體依照主祢所造的方式運行。求主恢復我的身心健康，這樣我就可以一生侍奉祢。詩篇30:2
● 求主幫助我們與人而非理論保持聯繫，讓我們能有機會向每個人分享救贖的盼望。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 為在中國面臨逼迫的基督徒禱告。
● 為我們的宣教士領導正在進行的聖經訓練課程禱告。
● 為那些受苦於痛苦和身體限制的疾病者禱告。
● 為那些心中沒有平安的人禱告。
● 為那些失去親人的人禱告。
