October 20, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for clear, crisp mornings
● for being faithful to us even when we are not
● for your gift of the Holy Spirit living in us. Help us to be mindful of your presence.
● for being the source of all truth. Continue to speak to us when we are confused and need your clarity.
● for being the one who heals. Show us where we need to be healed.
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● that the priority of our days is to tell others how to be saved,” ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16:31
● guide us to be compassionate. “Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.” 1 Peter 3:8
● remind us that our actions and words influence the hearts of unbelievers. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:17
● show us that we cannot enter the Kingdom of God by having our head questions answered, but only by faith and commitment in Jesus as our Savior
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those mourning the loss of loved ones
● for those who stress about little details and forget God’s bigger plan
● for guidance for our nation in deciding political leaders
● for those experiencing family discord
● for God to reveal the ministry work that He has planned for each of us as long as we are sojourners on earth
● for those in need of healing

“又要以耶和華為樂，他就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
● 為有清爽、明朗的早晨。
● 為主祢在我們不忠心時仍然對我們信實。
● 為主祢所賜的聖靈住在我們裡面，幫助我們時刻記得祢的同在。
● 為主祢是所有真理的源頭，當我們困惑並需要祢的明確指引時，繼續對我們說話。
● 為主祢是醫治者，顯明我們需要在哪些方面得到醫治。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 讓我們每天的首要任務是告訴他人如何得救：「當信主耶穌，你和你一家都必得救。」《使徒行傳》16:31
● 引導我們有同情心。「你們要彼此同情，彼此相愛如同弟兄姐妹，要心存憐憫，保持謙卑的態度。」《彼得前書》3:8
● 提醒我們，我們的行為和言語會影響不信者的心。「無論做什麼，或說什麼，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉著祂感謝父神。」《歌羅西書》3:17
● 顯明給我們，進入神的國度不是通過理性上的答案，而是藉著對耶穌的信心，信靠耶穌作為我們的救主。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 為那些哀悼失去親人的人禱告。
● 為那些因瑣事而壓力重重，忘記了神更大計劃的人禱告。
● 為我們國家在決定政治領袖時尋求主引導禱告。
● 為那些經歷家庭紛爭的人禱告。
● 為神顯明祂為我們每個人所計劃的事工禱告，因我們仍在世上寄居。
● 為那些需要醫治的人禱告。
