“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

• Thank you, Lord, that You are our armor of protection against the enemy which seeks to fill our heads with untruths.
• Thank you, Lord, that you are Yahweh Yireh, the God who provides all we need in your timing and in your way.
• Thank you, Lord, that we don’t have to figure everything out ourselves. Help us to yield to your plans.
• Thank you, Lord, for the fresh produce from our gardens; for the sun which brings sweetness to our vegetables and Your Son who brings sweetness to our lives.
• Thank you, Lord for the Vacation Bible School participants – the leaders, the volunteers and especially the children. May the seeds that were planted take root and may CCC be faithful in watering.
• Help us to practice kindness, a fruit of the Spirit. As we walk into each day, teach us to look for someone to forgive, someone to bless, and someone with whom to share Your goodness and faithfulness.
• We pray for our children, entering a new school year. May they delight in learning and developing new friendships and interests.  Protect them from illness and those with evil intentions.  Make them strong with the Scriptures they have hidden in their hearts so they may be ready for whatever they encounter.
• As summer comes to a close, we pray for new energy and commitment for fall plans CCC has for imparting the Good News, especially the Shoebox Ministry and Queen Esther drama.
• Lord, we are overwhelmed with the circumstances of life – natural disasters, personal setbacks, self-centeredness in people around us, difficult relationships… remind us of how you have always been and continue to be faithful and worthy of our trust—even when we suffer and don’t know why.
• Jesus, as we desire to serve You and focus on Your purposes, give us a sense of Your presence. Allow us to fix our eyes on You. We are not strong enough to run this race, but in Your power we can keep our focus on the finish line of faith. You say in Philippians 3:14, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
• We pray for our community – not only for a facelift, but a heart-lift, that enables us to love one another.
• Pray that we may approach God with surrender, not bargaining in mind.
• We pray for our brothers and sisters going through daily trials and trauma. May they draw on the Holy Spirit to help them through their days.

• 主啊，感謝你是我們的盔甲，仇敵試圖用謊言充滿我們的頭腦，保護我們免受仇敵的攻擊。
• 主啊，感謝你是耶和華以勒（Yahweh Yireh），一個按你的時間和方式供應我們一切所需的神。
• 感謝主我們不必自己解決所有問題。幫助我們屈從於你的計劃。
• 主啊，感謝你賜予我們花園裡的新鮮蔬菜；感謝有太陽給我們的蔬菜帶來甜美，也感謝你的兒子給我們的生活帶來甜蜜。
• 為暑期兒童聖經班的參與者——領袖、義工志願者，尤其是孩子們——感謝主。願種下的種子生根發芽，願CCC忠心地澆灌。
• 幫助我們實踐仁慈，這是聖靈的果子。當我們踏進每一天時，教導我們去尋找一個人來寬恕，一個人來祝福，一個人來分享你的良善和信實。
• 我們為進入新學年的孩子們祈禱。願他們樂於學習、培養新的友誼和興趣。保護他們免受疾病和惡意的侵害。用隱藏在他們心中的聖經話語使他們堅強，這樣他們就可以為遇到的任何事情做好準備。
• 隨著夏季即將結束，我們祈求在CCC秋季傳播福音的計劃上有新的力量和承諾，特別是鞋盒事工和以斯帖王后戲劇。
• 主啊，我們被生活環境所壓垮:自然災害、個人挫折、周圍人的自我中心、困難的人際關係…… 提醒我們你——之前一直、未來繼續——都保持忠誠並值得我們信任——即使在我們受苦，卻不知道為什麼。
• 耶穌啊，當我們渴望事奉你並專注於你的旨意時，讓我們知道你來到我面前。使我們將目光在集中你身上。我們沒有足夠的力量來跑這場比賽，但靠著你的力量，我們可以把專注力投在信心的終點線上。你在腓立比書3章14節中說：「我向著標竿直跑，要得神在基督耶穌裡從上面召我來得的獎賞。」
• 為我們的社區禱告——不僅是為了表面的改進，更是為了心靈的振奮，使我們能夠彼此相愛。
• 祈求我們能以順服的態度來到神面前，而不是存著討價還價的心態。
• 為每天經歷考驗和創傷的弟兄姐妹禱告。願他們依靠聖靈來幫助他們度過日子。
