CCC Sunday Worship Services  are usually held in-person and on Zoom.  See schedule below.  Everyone must wear a mask, affirm the wellness check, and sign in with contact information when attending in person.  Online participants should sign-in with a simple and recognizable name.  Come join us online or in person!

Chinese Mission Convention 2021 will be held online December 28 and 29, 2021 this year.  The Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) is dedicated to challenging, empowering, and mobilizing individuals and churches to reach the world for Christ. CMC seeks to unleash us for God’s global glory.  Separate sessions are provided in Mandarin and English. Church Offices will be closed on December 24, the observed holiday, and on December 25, Christmas Day.

Parking at PMI Parking lots:  Our regular parking arrangement at 900 New York Avenue is NOW AVAILABLE on Sundays.  You may park for free on the street or in the PMI open lot which you enter on 9th Street. We will still have a paid arrangement at the PMI Garage at 600 Mass Ave for those who need to have a closer option for parking.  For either lot, please make sure you pick up a validation stamp or follow-up ticket at the front door from security or greeters. Pardon our Dust Work is continuing on the security grant project awarded to our church so be cautious around any work areas in progress.  Please stay in assigned worship and Sunday School areas only.  Cameras, monitors and new doors will be installed.  The nationwide parts and delivery shortages are causing a delay.

Offerings and Donations are welcome as church expenses continue.  Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. Send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send through Pay Pal.  Make payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Offering collection boxes are available in the church in worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, or Building Fund.  Thank you for supporting the ministry of CCC as God leads you.  From Him all blessings flow!  Donations must be postmarked by December 31, 2021 to be counted as a 2021 contribution.

  • Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting We invite you to join together as a church family for prayer on January 3, 2022 (the first Monday of the month) from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm.  Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction.  You may pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. You may come any time during the hour. COVID-19 Vaccinations are widely available for children and adults.  Contact your state or the district’s government website or your local health department for more information.  All individuals 5 and older are eligible for the initial vaccinations, and many locations have walk-up availability for initial shots and boosters.  If you or someone you know needs help with getting a vaccination or have questions, please call Michelle at the Service Center 202-898-0061.

Community Services Classes:  English as a Second Language Class every Tuesday @ 6 pm; Citizenship Classes will not meet for the rest of 2021 and change to a new day and time for meeting in 2022.  Contact Chinatown Service Center for changes to schedule or to register and obtain the meeting link: 202-898-0061

The church office and Chinatown Service Center are open full-time hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.  All visitors must call the respective office to make an appointment before coming in and be informed of safety protocols, such as mask-wearing, when entering the church building.  Church office number is 202-637-9852 and Chinatown Service Center number is 202-898-0061.    Our building worker continues to maintain our building following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting against COVID-19.

Precautionary Measures Due to Coronavirus

  • Be cautious when going out – wearing a face covering is no longer mandated in DC but is required in some conditions and at the discretion of businesses. Be cautious in large gatherings.  Stay home if you are sick.
  • Details of activity information changes are announced through the website, phone tree, social media. WTOP and WJLA will announce emergency changes. If you want to be on the email list, please make sure we have your current email by contacting linda@cccdc.com
  • Anyone who has been exposed to coronavirus or tests positive must quarantine for 10 days.
  • Follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for protecting yourself – wear a mask, wash hands frequently with soap and water, cover coughs and sneezes, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, stay home if you feel ill.
  • Consult a doctor if you have a high fever, cough or breathing problems.
  • Be aware of anti-Asian/Chinese sentiments from those who have anger or fear related to the virus’ origins. Call 911 if you feel threatened.
  • Trust God in this and all situations acting as Jesus would to check on people who may need assistance, not giving into fear, verifying information before passing it on, praying often for His protection and trusting Him for the outcome. Our response in any situation is a testimony of our faith.

聖誕節節日期間教會辦公室時間安排：12月24日（星期五）教會辦公室放假。

PMI停車場：教會通常在紐約大道900號為參加主日敬拜的會衆提供的停車位現在允許停車，請用 9th 街入口進入；另外教會在600 Mass Ave的停車場購買了停車位，為需要停在靠近教堂的會衆使用。無論您在哪個停車場，請向教堂前門的主日招待或安保人員領取停車票，您也可以在街邊免費停車。欲知更多信息，請發送咨詢郵件到info@cccdc.com ，。

小心灰塵：教會獲得的安防基金項目已經在教堂内開始實施，工程期間，請您留在指定的崇拜地點和主日學區域；工程項目包括安裝攝像頭、監控器和新門。現在全國範圍的供貨運輸緊張推遲了工程的進展。

新冠疫苗的接種向所有居民開放：你可以聯係所住地區的衛生部門查詢疫苗接種的詳細信息，也可以撥打服務中心電話202-898-0061，請Michelle幫助注冊接種疫苗的時間和相關問題。年齡超過5嵗以上的人都有資格接種疫苗，而且有許多接種點不需預約。

服務中心提供英文課和公民考試課：英文課的時間為星期二下午6點、新年之前公民考試課取消，2022年的公民課將實行新的時間表，請撥打服務中心電話202-898-0061查詢課程計劃、登記注冊和獲取課程鏈接。

教會辦公室和服務中心恢復正常辦公時間：星期一到星期五、早晨8點半到下午4點。來訪者必須提前、分別向教會辦公室和服務中心預約到訪時間、進入教會辦公室前要聆聽安全守則，并且在辦公室内遵守安全協議，佩戴口罩。教會辦公室電話為202-637-9852，服務中心電話為202-898-0061。教堂建築物維護工作人員按照疾病防控中心對新冠病毒防控的指引，持續對教堂及大樓進行清潔和消毒工作。

新型冠狀病毒預防措施

  • 謹慎外出——在特區不再强制佩戴口罩，但有些情況下和營業場合中仍然需佩戴口罩。要保持謹慎的態度參加大型集會。如果生病了，請留在家中。
