Prayers

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

• Thank you, Lord, that although I may not always know how or when You will help me, I know You are always with me.
• Thank you, Lord, for the mark that those who have died have left on me.
• Thank you, Lord, for children out and about and laughing!
• Thank you, Lord, for those who have used kind words to encourage me.
• Thank you, Lord, for keeping track of all my sorrows in your book. Psalm 56:8

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

• For those who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus – beaten, imprisoned, slandered, displaced from homes, discriminated against, killed – that they will find the right words to use in their situation which will inspire others to faith in Jesus, that they will find a peace and a power that is beyond themselves and that God will protect them according to His will.
• That as we celebrate Holy Communion, may the rescuing love of Jesus remind us that His cross is worth remembering—together
• For continued healing and patience for those receiving medical treatment
• That now that another season of political campaigning is closed, government leaders will take action with the wisdom of God leading them
• For success of the shoebox ministry to bring the gospel to more children around the world
• That as daylight hours dwindle, believers never let the light of Jesus cease to shine in their lives
• For those who are alone or lonely
• For perseverance, wisdom and safety for our missionaries
• To be patient and adhere to safety measures to fight coronavirus

Pray for CCC:

• To spread the news that God is all we need on earth and in heaven. You guide me with your instruction and at the end you will receive me with honor. What else do I have in heaven but you? Since I have you, what else could I want on earth? My mind and my body may grow weak, but God is my strength; he is all I ever need. Psalm 73:24-26
• To persevere in works that spread the gospel
• To listen for God’s voice which may be speaking at any time and through any situation or person
• To build relationships which open doors for sharing Jesus
• To be good stewards of the things God has entrusted to us
• To love You and others, as we become more confident in Your never-ending love for us
• To count blessings rather than faults
• To encourage her pastors with unending prayer

To Think About: What’s needed most if we are to be disciples of Christ? Life-Style Worship.  We must consecrate ourselves to God; in Old Testament times it was always with blood, the sacrifice of animals.  But God found another way by sending Jesus, and accepts the blood of Jesus for our consecration whenever we celebrate communion.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)  However, every day we can consecrate ourselves to God by offering ourselves to His service and declaring we are a citizen of heaven.

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

• 請用禱告紀念因信仰耶穌而受到迫害的弟兄姊妹——他們被毆打、監禁、誹謗、流離失所、歧視、殺害，願主保守他們隨機應變，用合適言詞，傳揚福音，激勵他人相信耶穌；求主帶給他們有出人意外的平安、有超出個人能力的力量，求主按他自己的心意保護他子民的平安。
• 當我們慶祝聖餐時，願主耶穌救贖的愛提醒我們，他的十字架配得我們共同紀念。
• 為持續診治和恢復過程的耐心禱告。
• 當新一輪政治競選季結束了的時候，讓我們為政府領導人能用神的智慧帶領他們的決策和行爲。
• 禱告聖誕兒童行動的鞋盒禮物事工能成功將福音帶給世界上更多的孩子。
• 雖然白天的時間逐漸變短，但愿相信耶穌的人永遠不會讓耶穌的光在他們的生命中停止閃耀。
• 為孤單或孤獨的人禱告，求主耶穌成爲他們的安慰。
• 為我們的宣教士的毅力、智慧和安全禱告。
• 為抗擊新冠病毒過程中有耐心和恆心保持安全措施禱告。

為教會的需要禱告：

• 要傳揚這個消息：上帝是我們今生和在永恆中一切需要的源頭。 在詩篇 73章24-26節中說：“你要以你的訓言引導我，以後必接我到榮耀裡。除你以外，在天上我有誰呢？除你以外，在地上我也沒有所愛慕的。我的肉體和我的心腸衰殘，但神是我心裡的力量，又是我的福分，直到永遠。”。
• 為我們能堅持傳福音禱告。
• 為我們每個人都準備隨時隨地能聽到神對我們説話禱告。
• 求神幫助我們建立良好的關係，從而使傳福音的大門敞開。
• 讓我們在神交托的事情上，做神的好管家。
• 當我們更加篤信神對我們永不止息的愛時，也讓我們愛神、愛人。
• 讓我們數算福分，不要計數過失。
• 讓我們不要停止為教會的牧者禱告。

思考：我們要成為基督的門徒，最需要什麼？答案就是：在生活中敬拜神。我們必須向神獻上自己作爲祭物。舊約時代的是宰殺牲畜，獻上帶血的祭物；然而神差遣耶穌作爲替代的方式，當我們行聖餐禮時，接納耶穌的血作爲我們的祭物。 我們若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌的血也洗淨我們一切的罪 （約翰一書1:7）。然而，我們每天都可以有願意服侍神的心，願意宣稱是神國的子民，這樣我們就能將自己為祭物擺在神的面前。
