Prayers: May 23, 2021
Prayers
Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:
- Thank you, Lord, that the holy Spirit is the means I am adopted as a child of God. Romans 8:14-16
- Thank you, Lord, that I am a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:17
- Thank you, Lord, that the Holy Spirit changes me. Galatians 5:22
- Thank you, Lord, that the Holy Spirit, empowers me to go and do. Acts 1:8
- Thank you, Lord, that the Holy Spirit prays for me when I do not have the words. Romans 8:26-27
Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:
- For those who are physically limited by age or illness. Pray for their strengths and joy to overcome.
- For safety from the COVID-19 virus. Pray more are vaccinated and all make wise choices in how to act in the community
- That we strive to help carry other’s burdens because this is what Jesus show us to do. Galatians 6:2
- That we may be an example of joyful living no matter what our circumstances
- That we may applaud the accomplishments of new graduates and pray for the next chapter of study or career in their lives
- That when we feel wronged, we use the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in us to forgive and release any resentment just as God has forgiven us
- For those struggling with change and broken relationships
Pray for CCC:
- To worship the Lord always because, “He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever” and is worthy to be praised. Psalm 146:6
- For wisdom in establishing reopening church plans
- To follow the teachings of Paul to Timothy, to “preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. ꓺꓺꓺ But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:2,5 NLT
- For each member of the body to recognize her/her gifts and commit to serving God in and through the church
- For Bible study groups to continue encouraging its members through Bible study, fellowship and prayer
- That God will provide all that is necessary to accomplish CCC’s ministry – changed hearts, resources, unity, alignment with God’s will and PATIENCE
To Think About: We often have questions that can rock our faith such as ‘why do bad things happen’. Many times we assume a cause and effect mentality. In the case of the man born blind, that bad things happen due to something we or others have done. Jesus answered 3“His blindness has nothing to do with his sins or his parents’ sins. He is blind so that God’s power might be seen at work in him. However, bad things are part of reality, and God intends and can make something beautiful from something ugly. His plan is always to reveal himself to us. John 9:3 GNT

禱告事項
感謝主每日同行:
- 感謝主,讓我藉著聖靈成為神的孩子。(羅馬書8:14-16)
- 主啊,謝謝你讓我是神的聖殿,使聖靈住在我裡面。 (哥林多前書3:17 )
- 感謝主,聖靈能改變我。(加拉太書5:22)
- 感謝主賜下聖靈,使我有能力為主去做見證。(使徒行傳1:8)
- 感謝神,當我們沒有合適的言語禱告時,鑒察人心、明白神心意的聖靈照著神的旨意替聖徒祈求。(羅馬書8:26-27 )
為主內弟兄姊妹禱告:
- 為年長和體弱多病的弟兄姊妹禱告,求主加添他們的力量和有喜樂的心面對每天的挑戰。
- 為我們能安全地免於新冠病毒的感染禱告。為更多的人接種疫苗禱告;為每個人在社區中的行為做出明智的選擇禱告。
- 我們盡力幫助別人分擔重擔,因為這正是耶穌為我們所做的榜樣。加拉太書6:2說:“你們各人的重擔要互相擔當,如此就完全了基督的律法。“
- 無論我們遇到什麼情況,求神幫助我們都可以成為喜樂人生的典範。
- 讓我們熱烈鼓掌慶祝畢業生順利結束學業,為他們生活中新的學習篇章和職業生涯禱告。
- 當我們感到不公平和受傷害時,求聖靈幫助我們學會寬恕和掙脫心中的苦毒怨恨,就像上帝已寬恕我們一樣 。
- 為經歷變動和關係破裂的人禱告。
為教會的需要禱告:
- 願我們常常敬拜神,因爲“耶和華造天、地、海和其中的萬物,他守信實直到永遠(詩篇146:6)。”他值得我們的稱頌。
- 求神賜給我們智慧,引導我們制定教會重新開放的計劃。
- 讓我們來跟隨保羅對提摩太的教導,“ 務要傳道,無論得時不得時總要專心;並用百般的忍耐、各樣的教訓責備人、警戒人、勸勉人。 …… 你卻要凡事謹慎,忍受苦難,做傳道的工夫,盡你的職分。(提摩太後書4:2,5)”
- 為教會肢體都能認識到神賜給自己的恩賜禱告,并且在教會將恩賜事奉神。
- 願查經小組能持續通過學習聖經、團契和禱告來鼓勵小組成員在主裡成長。
- 願神供應我們教會完成事工的一切需要:更新的心意、需要的資源、霛裡的合一、按神的旨意彼此聯合和恆心忍耐的品格。
思考:我們常常遇到足以動搖我們信念的問題,例如:“為什麼有壞事發生”。很多時候,我們心中假設了一種因果關係。在對於生來為盲人的這件事情上,認爲發生壞事的起因是由於我們或其他人所做的事情。但是,壞事是現實的一部分,上帝打算並且可以從壞事中創造出美好的事物。他的計劃總是向我們啓示他自己。約翰福音9章3節說:耶穌回答說:“也不是這人犯了罪,也不是他父母犯了罪,是要在他身上顯出神的作為來。”
