Prayers 

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

  • Thank you, Lord, that I can be strong and courageous because you are with me wherever I go.
  • Thank you, Lord, for warmer and brighter days –I have been so ready for them!
  • Thank you, Lord, I am forgiven through Christ. Acts 13:39
  • Thank you, Lord, for children’s laughter and shouts of joy.
  • Thank you, Lord, that You make everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11

 

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

  • Those with ongoing health concerns will trust in the healing power and plans of God
  • Those in nursing or homebound care – that they will know contentment from the Lord
  • For our nation to exercise self-control and not rush into selfish desires
  • For the children who received Christmas shoeboxes, that seeds have been planted which God will germinate
  • For courage and safety for our children returning to in-person learning
  • For those who have labored selflessly for more than a year to take care of Covid patients and issues – thank God for their faithfulness and perseverance
  • For those having trouble coping with issues, environment and relationships

 

Pray for CCC:

  • To be an example of joy as we wait on the Lord and trust His Word so that others may desire the hope we have. Psalm 130:4
  • Praise the Lord who renews us and fills our lives with good things. Psalm 103:1-5
  • To be used as instruments of God’s love to hurting people.
  • Thank God for her faithful prayer warriors
  • To be missions-minded, thinking of who else needs to hear the Gospel and what we can do to reach them. Pray also for the work of our missionaires who share in this purpose.
  • That in our Lenten journey, we may reflect on being like Jesus as he was throughout his ministry – serving others, not expecting to be served. Mark 10:45  Pray that at the end of each day, we can tell God we have served this purpose today.

 

To Think About: Let us focus on the majesty and power of our Father, the one who created all things and has never failed to take care of us in the past, is continually with us in the present and will continue to love us into heaven in the future.  “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NLT  God promises to provide whatever we need.

感謝主每日同行：

 

  • 感謝主無論我在哪裏你與我同在，因此我得以剛强，充滿勇氣。
  • 感謝主帶來更溫暖、更明亮的日子 – 我早已爲此準備好了。
  • 感謝主耶穌為我擔當了一切過犯，使我可以稱義。（使徒行傳13:39）
  • 為孩子們的歡聲笑語而感謝神！
  • 感謝造物主使萬物各按其時，成爲美好。（傳道書3:11）

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

 

  • 為身體有長期病痛的肢體禱告，禱告他們相信神醫治的大能和他的計劃。
  • 為老人院或居家需要特別看護的長輩們禱告，願他們願意瞭解神所賜的滿足喜樂。
  • 願我們的國家能夠自律，而不是急於任意而行。
  • 為接受了聖誕節禮物鞋盒的兒童禱告，求主讓已播下的福音種子在孩子們心裏發芽成長。
  • 為孩子們返校學習的安全和勇氣禱告。
  • 為一年多來忘我工作照顧新冠病毒感染人群的各業人員禱告，感謝神，感謝他們的信心和恆心。
  • 為那些面對難處、有人際關係困難和處境不順利的人禱告，願他們將手中的重擔全然卸在神的面前。

為教會的需要禱告：

 

  • 讓我們成爲等候神、信靠神應許的榜樣，讓我們的盼望也成爲他人定意追尋的盼望。（詩篇130:4）
  • 讚美神，他以美好的事物更新我們、充滿我們的生命。（詩篇103:1-5）
  • 求主使用我們，成爲神愛的器皿，用神的愛關愛傷心失意的人。
  • 為忠心的禱告勇士感謝主！
  • 讓我們有宣教的心意，思想誰需要福音以及我們怎樣給他們傳福音。同時也爲我們的宣教士分享福音的事工禱告。
  • 在大齋節期，讓我們反思並學習耶穌在他整個事工中所作的榜樣，象他那樣服侍他人，不要等待被服侍（馬可福音10:45）。讓我們禱告：在結束每一天時，我們在今天已經達成了這個目的。

思考：讓我們注目於天父上帝的威嚴和大能，他創造萬物、從前一直看顧我們，現在仍然與我們同在，並將持續愛我們，直到將來我們進入天國。我的神必照他榮耀的豐富，在基督耶穌裡使你們一切所需用的都充足（腓立比書4:19）。上帝承諾提供我們所需的一切。
