Prayers – March 16, 2025

Prayers

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

During this season of Lent, may we devote extra time in prayer, repentance, fasting and reflection on what Jesus has done for us in being our “sacrifice” for the atonement of our sins.

Thank you, Lord….

• that You are able to turn my wailing into dancing and clothe me with joy. Psalm 30:11
• because You are my help, I can sing in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 63:7
• for new life and hope that comes from the warmth of spring sunshine
• that Your anger only lasts a moment, but Your favor lasts a lifetime. Psalm 30:5
• that our plans will succeed if we have committed them to You. Proverbs 16:3

Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….

• Help us to fulfill the purposes for which You have created us, not of our choosing, but for the purpose for which You made us. But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. Acts 20:24
• Help us to use our time wisely like Jesus, never slacking or misusing any opportunity.
• May we follow Jesus’ example of humility. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6:
• You who daily bear our burdens, strengthen our hands and expand our hearts that we might offer your generous care to a friend or neighbor so that by knowing You, their burdens may be lightened.

 We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be               accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….

• for our church family to persevere in unity in fulfilling the mission of CCC
• for wisdom and perseverance for our missionaries who bring the Good News to those who otherwise would not hear it
• that You are preparing the heart of the pastor who will be called to CCC
• for the health and well-being of our children
• for comfort for those suffering from health issues
• for our senior members who might move more slowly, but still contribute to the mission of the church in faithful prayer and devotion

感謝主 …

• 祢已將我的哀哭變為跳舞，將我的麻衣脫去，給我披上喜樂。（詩篇30:11）
• 因為祢曾幫助我，我就在祢翅膀的蔭下歡呼。（詩篇63:7）
• 主透過春日陽光的溫暖，帶來新的生命和希望。
• 因為主的怒氣不過是轉眼之間，主的恩典乃是一生之久，一宿雖然有哭泣，早晨便必歡呼。（詩篇30:5）
• 我們所做的要交託耶和華，我們所謀的就必成立。（箴言16:3）

主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…

• 幫助我們完成祢為我們創造的使命，不是我們所選擇的使命，而是祢為我們預備的旨意。「我卻不以性命為念，也不看為寶貴，只要行完我的路程，成就我從主耶穌所領受的職事，證明神恩惠的福音。」（使徒行傳20:24）
• 幫助我們像耶穌一樣明智地使用時間，絕不懈怠或錯失任何機會。
• 願我們效法耶穌的謙卑：「神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。」（雅各書4:6）
• 祢是天天背負我們重擔的主，求主堅固我們的手，擴張我們的心，使我們能夠向朋友或鄰舍展現祢慷慨的關愛，讓他們因認識主而減輕重擔。

我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。

 求主讓我們的教會家庭在完成CCC的使命時，持守合一並堅忍到底。

• 求主賜智慧和毅力給我們的宣教士，讓他們能將福音帶給那些原本無法聽到的人。
• 求主為我們CCC教會預備並呼召合祢心意的牧師。
• 求主保守我們兒童的健康與福祉。
• 求主安慰那些正遭受健康問題困擾的人。
• 求主保守我們年長的會友，雖然他們行動可能較為緩慢，但仍能在禱告和奉獻中忠心地參與教會的使命。
