Prayers – January 19, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for the opportunity to live in a nation where we may worship God freely.
● for bringing Pastor Joanna through her long trial of illness and back to the pulpit
● for the smiles of little ones who fill our hearts with joy.
● for delivering us from our fears
● for the Holy Spirit who provides us with power to overcome temptations.
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Remind us that Jesus should be front and center in our lives for He tells us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
● Keep us from adding to or subtracting from God’s word to suit ourselves. Allow God to change us to suit His word.
● Guide us to share the Good News by our actions. “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”John 13:35
● Teach us to react to circumstances over which we have no control to transform us into what God wants us to be – groomed for His service.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those suffering from illness and loneliness
● for those living in fear of who are devastated by wildfires and war
● for those entrusted to lead our nation under God’s guidance
● for CCC leaders planning for ministry to celebrate our 90thanniversary
● for our community to work with one another for the good of God’s people
● for those looking for jobs

• 讓我們能生活在一個可以自由敬拜上帝的國家。
• 帶領徐麗娟牧師經歷長期疾病的考驗，並重新回到講台。
• 孩子們的笑容，充滿我們的心靈歡樂。
• 拯救我們脫離恐懼。
• 感謝聖靈賜給我們能力去克服誘惑。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 求主提醒我們，耶穌應該是我們生命的中心，因祂說：「我就是道路、真理、生命。若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。」（約翰福音 14:6）
• 求主幫助我們不加添或減少神的話語以迎合自己，而是讓神改變我們以符合祂的話語。
• 求主指引我們用行動分享福音。「你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」（約翰福音13:35）
• 求主幫助我們面對無法掌控的情況時能做出合乎神心意的回應，改變我們成為祂所希望的樣式，為祂的事工預備。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 為那些因野火或戰爭而驚恐或遭受摧殘的人祈禱。
• 為那些被託付引領國家的領袖祈禱，願他們在神的指引下行事。
• 為CCC領袖籌劃我們90週年慶典的事工祈禱。
• 為我們的社區能彼此合作，共同為神的子民謀福祉祈禱。
• 為那些尋求工作的弟兄姊妹祈禱。
