August 25, 2024 Prayers
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for your promise to us, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
● that your comfort and kindness are readily available for anything we may be going through today. Psalm 31:19
● that You love us even when we misunderstand, doubt, and deny.
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Strengthen us at the start of each day with your love, power and wisdom.
● Help us to see Jesus at work when He produces in ordinary circumstances something that is inspiring.
● Help us to keep ourselves in touch, not with ideas or ideals, but with people with whom God wants us to connect.
● Remind us of the promise of Romans 8:28 that “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (NLT).
● Forgive us, Lord, when we take your goodness for granted.
● Help us to develop an attitude of positive response when God asks, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ ‘Here I am! Send me.’” May we contribute to making things better.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those undergoing prolonged medical treatment or recovering from surgery
● for those who live in the midst of war
● for our children preparing to return to school. May their curiosity be peaked in an inviting and safe environment.
● for overseas students coming to our area for higher learning programs. May CCC have the opportunity to share the gospel with them.
● for those faced with making difficult decisions. May they hear God’s voice of direction.

● 用您的愛、力量和智慧來堅固我們每一天的開始。
● 當耶穌在平凡的環境中創造出鼓舞人心的事物時，幫助我們看到祂的作為。
● 幫助我們不僅僅與觀念或理想保持聯繫，而是與神希望我們接觸的人們保持聯繫。
● 提醒我們羅馬書8:28的應許：「我們曉得萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按祂旨意被召的人。」（新譯本）
● 幫助我們在神問「我可以差遣誰，誰肯為我們去？」時，培養積極回應的態度：「我在這裡，請差遣我。」 願我們為改善這個世界貢獻力量。
我們為不只在教會的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為在教會外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
● 為那些正接受長期治療或正從手術中康復的人祈禱。
● 為那些生活在戰爭中的人祈禱。
● 為我們的孩子們祈禱，求主讓他們在充滿溫馨和安全的環境中重返學校，激發他們的好奇心。
● 為來到我們地區接受高等教育的海外學生祈禱，願教會有機會向他們分享福音。
● 為面臨艱難抉擇的人祈禱，願他們聆聽神的指引。
