July 28, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for sending the Holy Spirit to live within us. John 16:13
● for the ways you change our hearts to love you more. Ezekiel 36:26 [And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.]
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives….
● Show us that when we have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible.
● Help us to develop a full knowledge of Jesus so that we are not deceived by false doctrines. Ephesians 4:14
● Help us to seek You diligently. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
● Remind us of your promise that as believers, we experience Abraham’s blessing of being in the family of God: “And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.” Galatians 3:29 Thank God for the promise of blessing and redemption from sin that has been passed on to us through faith in Jesus Christ.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those undergoing prolonged medical treatment or recovering from surgery
● that those in physically frail condition may still be strong in faith and hope
● that we help our children to wear God’s special armor that will keep them safe. Ephesians 6:10-18
● for those mourning loss of loved ones
● for church members to discern their gifts and have the courage to use them to serve God
● that the children entrusted to CCC for Vacation Bible School will experience God’s love
● that righteous leaders will be lifted up to serve our nation

儘管我們努力控制生活的各個方面，求主在我們裡面按你的方式行事…
● 當我們學習行在主的光中時，經歷苦毒和爭競是不可能的。
● 幫助我們充分認識耶穌，以免被假教義所欺騙。以弗所書 4:14
● 幫助我們勤奮地尋求主。 「你們尋求我，若要專心尋求，就必尋見。」– 耶利米書29:13
● 提醒我們你的承諾，身為信徒，我們經歷亞伯拉罕在上帝家中的祝福：「現在你們屬於基督，你們就是亞伯拉罕真正的子孫。你們是祂的後嗣，神對亞伯拉罕的應許也屬於你們。」加拉太書 3:29 感謝神因信耶穌基督而將祝福和救贖的應許賜給我們。
我們為不只在CCC的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為牆外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使 我們可能不理解過程或結果……（我改了繁體字）
● 為那些正在接受長期治療或恢復手術的人禱告。
● 求主讓那些身體虛弱的人在信心和希望中依然堅強。
● 求主幫助我們教導孩子們穿上神的全副軍裝，使他們安全。以弗所書6:10-18
● 為那些哀悼失去親人的人禱告。
● 求主幫助教會成員能辨識他們的恩賜，並有勇氣使用這些恩賜來侍奉神。
● 願託付給CCC的暑期聖經學校的孩子們體驗到神的愛。
● 願正義的領導者被舉起來為我們的國家服務。
