July 21, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for opportunities to visit with old friends
● for the healing that is taking place among our brothers and sisters
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives….
● May we fill our children with so much of your love and truth that it spills over to those around them
● Help us to demonstrate a Christ-centered attitude and value system that unites us rather than self-centeredness which isolates us from one another
● Help us to always make our plans with You, for we know You have ways to upset our plans, when we have not taken You into account
● Remind us of your promise that we have the free gift of eternal life: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” Help us to respond in gratefulness. John 3:16
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those undergoing prolonged medical treatment or recovering from surgery
● for those who are devastated by war and persecution
● for those who were touched by our church in outreach or worship events
● for unity in our nation and the ability to act with mercy and humility
● for the work God has begun in the hearts of those signed up to attend and work at Vacation Bible School
● for those who come faithfully to church whether in person or online
● for protection over those who are targeted for harm under misguided reasoning

● 我們為努力將時間浪費在電子產品和社群媒體上掙扎，而不是親自互相鼓勵。求主本週幫助我們騰出時間與至少一位所愛的人共度時光。
● 求主提醒我們您的承諾，即我們一直被您所愛：「甚至在祂創造世界之前，上帝就愛我們,在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在祂眼中成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵。神預先決定將我們接納為祂自己的家庭，透過耶穌基督帶我們到祂身邊。」弗 1:4,5
我們為 CCC 的員工及其活動祈禱，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
● 對於那些正在接受長期治療或從手術中恢復的人，求主用聖靈的力量來填滿他們，清除所有受損區域，以便身體重建和恢復。
● 求主的福音將真理的種子，播種在曾參與或將參加教會外展活動的人士。
● 求主讓那些度假旅行的人，可以在放鬆和恢復精力的同時保持安全。
● 求主顧念那些因失落和孤獨而悲傷的人。
● 求主讓暑假靜修和假期聖經學校的參與者體驗上帝的愛。
