  • Easter Lilies may be purchased for display on Easter Sunday. Remember or honor a loved one by donating a lily for the altar or giving to a shut-in.  Complete the form found in the literature racks.  Cost is $15 per plant and deadline for orders is March 24.

Appreciation We are grateful to Sharon and Howard Huie for their ministry at the Chinese Community Church during Pastor Charles’ sabbatical.  Rev. Huie has served as interim pastor for Cantonese congregation for two months last year and for two months this year.  Their love for God’s people at CCC and the community has been an encouragement to everyone.

Additional ESL and Citizenship Teachers Needed In order to complete the rotation schedule, a few more teachers are needed for the zoom classes.  Study materials are provided and teachers sign up for once a month teaching.  For more information, call the Service Center at 202-898-0061.

Safety Survey The DowntownDC BID is launching a new safety initiative in the Gallery Place/Chinatown area made possible by the DMPSJ Safe Commercial Corridor Grant. The BID will deploy a patrol of dedicated safety personnel known as the DowntwonDC Safety Patrol.  They would like to hear about your safety experiences and concerns. Your input is critical to helping them capture pre-program experiences. Lunch Cooks needed for ongoing Sunday lunch fellowship. Parking at PMI Parking lots on Sundays:  900 New York Avenue – Free parking with validation stamp.  Enter on 9th Street. PMI Garage at 600 Mass Ave – church paid arrangement for those who need to have a closer option for parking.  For either lot, please make sure you pick up a validation stamp or follow-up ticket at the front door from security or greeters. Need Prayer? Send your request through the homepage of the church website. http://tinyurl.com/CCC-Prayers  or join the Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting.  We invite you to join together as a church family for prayer in our next virtual meeting, April 1, 2024 (usually the first Monday of the month) from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God.  There should be no explanation or self-introduction.  You may pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services.  Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund.

Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Michelle Yi is Resigning as Chinatown Service Center Coordinator,  but will continue to work until a replacement is found. Please pray that God will lead His perfect candidate to CCC to fill this position.  Anyone interested in applying for the job should send their resume or request more information from linda@cccdc.com.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) offers low-cost health insurance for children and teens according to income guidelines.  Contact the Service Center for more information.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be April 4.  Translators are provided.  You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend or use contact information provided on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall.  Meeting details will be provided when you call.

感謝畢巧榮牧師及許可為弟兄於辜牧師安息年假期間在CCC的教牧事工。畢牧師去年擔任粵語堂臨時牧師兩個月，今年也擔任了兩個月。他們對社區和神在CCC的子民之愛是每個人的一種鼓勵。
