Queen Esther Drama Save the date – December 10, 2023 to attend a joint worship service including the drama presentation of Queen Esther, who like Jesus, was willing to give her life to save her people. Led by the Cantonese Ministry, members of all congregations are working in the production which will start dress rehearsals in September. We pray for unity and joy as the 3 congregations work together to lift up the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christmas Ministry For Children Back to school season is here! Please consider taking advantage of ongoing sales and purchasing items to donate for Operation Christmas Child to fill shoeboxes with small gifts and share about Jesus with children who have not heard the Good News. For either lot, please make sure you pick up a validation stamp or follow-up ticket at the front door from security or greeters. Street parking is also free on Sundays. We invite you to join together as a church family for prayer in our next meeting on October 2, 2023 (usually the first Monday of the month) from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction. Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be September 7 at noon. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with Michelle, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. She will provide meeting details when you call.
