“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and plan for our redemption. Exodus 15:13
  • Thank you, Lord, that we may sleep in peace and safety. Psalm 4:8
  • Thank you, Lord, for the relaxing days of summer. Help us to rejoice in them with You.
  • Thank you, Lord, that You never grow weary of doing good for us. Teach us to do likewise.
  • Father, may we greet you every morning and listen to your guidance for our day.
  • May we be confident that You hear us when we pray. 1 John 5.14
  • We pray for those who have suffered devastating loss for Youare “near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
  • We pray that the fires in Hawaii and Canada may be contained quickly and recovery and rebuilding will be according to Your will.
  • Help us to turn a deaf ear to the lies the enemy spreads that cause us to doubt God’s love and purpose for us. Like Jesus, our purpose, peace, and joy comes from God.
  • Forgive us, Lord, that our quiet times with You are not always perfectly quiet or undistracted.
  • God, You are so good to us. You are good at being God.  Help us to be good at being your children.
  • We pray for those entrusted to be leaders. May they lead with the purpose of glorifying the Lord.
  • Lord, we are frustrated by what we hear and see in the news. Teach us to be patient to see what You will do and what we must do.
  • We pray for those suffering with ill health, financial challenges, and emotional pain. May they feel the presence of the Holy Spirit walking with them in their trials.
