Take Note!
Welcome Pastor Jacob Li! We are pleased to share that Jacob Li has accepted the call to serve as our Pastor for Chinese-Speaking Ministries. In this role, he will lead and nurture our Mandarin and Cantonese speaking congregations, providing spiritual guidance, pastoral care, and leadership for our growing Chinese ministries. Pastor Li officially begins his ministry on March 1, 2026. We thank God for His provision and for leading Pastor Li to our church family. This concludes a pastoral search process that began in May 2025. We thank Jo Kammer and the Search Committee for their diligence.
Join us in warmly welcoming and praying for Pastor Li and his family as they transition into this new season of ministry. We look forward to the ways God will work through them in the life of our church.
In addition, the Board approved the extension of Pastor Charles in a full-time pastoral capacity through March 2026 to assist with mentoring, transition, preaching, and pastoral duties. Pastor Joanna will continue pastoring in the Mandarin congregation and will work together with Pastor Jacob in building the Chinese-speaking Ministry.

Scam Prevention Seminar sponsored by the Chinatown Service Center will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 am in the church fellowship hall. See flyer on the bulletin board. Will be presented by the police department in English and Chinese as needed.

Missions Update Religious Education Committee committed support to seven missionaries/mission organizations in 2025 and is working on a list for 2026. February donations total $8,740; YTD = $12,453. A Calling to Serve: Children’s Ministry Coordinator The Children’s Ministry Coordinator Search Committee is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as our Children’s Ministry Coordinator at CCC. Candidate must have experience working with children in a church setting and have a heart for ministry. Please pray that God’s chosen leader for CCC will sense God’s calling and be in preparation for service in our church. Feel free to tell interested candidates how to apply. ● Please remember church staff in your prayers: Pastor Charles who is receiving eye injections for vision difficulty; Pastor Joanna Xu continuing with chemotherapy while still carrying out pastoral duties in Mandarin congregation; and Andre Manley who has moved from the rehab center and is awaiting finalization of assisted living arrangements and additional medical treatment.
● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on the first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join a zoom call to pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind. You may come any time during the hour for prayer in our next virtual meeting on March 3, 2026, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction.

● Cantonese Prayer Meeting, Wednesdays, 7:45 pm on zoom.
Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card, or using the PayPal Giving Fund. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be in March 5, 2026. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

欢迎李雅各牧师！我们怀着喜乐的心情向大家宣布：李雅各牧师已接受呼召，正式出任本教会华语事工牧师。李牧师将带领并牧养我们的国语及粤语会众，为日益增长的华语事工提供属灵引领、牧养关怀及领导支持。
李雅各牧师将于2026年3月1日正式开始他的服事。我们感谢神的预备，引领李牧师加入我们的教会大家庭。至此，自2025年5月开启的牧师寻聘工作圆满结束。在此特别感谢伍美珊以及聘牧委员会全体成员的辛劳与忠心。
请弟兄姊妹与我们一同热烈欢迎并为李雅各牧师及其家人祷告，求神保守他们这段事工转接的时期。我们满心期待看到神藉着他们，在我们的教会生活中彰显奇妙作为。

防诈骗讲座 由华埠服务中心赞助的“防诈骗讲座”将于2026年3月11日（周三）上午11:00在教会一樓团契厅举行。届时将由警局代表主讲（视需要提供中英文双语），详情请参阅布告栏海报。
