Joint 90th Anniversary Thanksgiving Worship, November 23, 2025, 10:45 am
All congregations will worship together in the sanctuary. Translation headsets will be available for Cantonese and Mandarin translation. Pastor Joshua will give the message and two new members will be received through transfer of membership. All are invited to join a special Thanksgiving Lunch prepared by Mingguang Zhang, his family and Mandarin co-workers and the 90thAnniversary Program in the Fellowship Hall following service.

Pastor for Chinese-Speaking Ministries Candidate
The Pastoral Search Committee, formed in April 2025, has been prayerfully seeking God’s choice for our Chinese-speaking pastor. Of eight applicants, Brother Jacob Li passed the initial interview and advanced to the second round of the selection process. He remains a candidate under consideration, and no final decision has been made.
Brother Jacob and his family will visit on Sunday, December 7, 2025, preaching at the Chinese Joint Service in the CCC Sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. Please join us and continue to pray for God’s guidance in this process. Candidates may still apply:[https://bit.ly/cccdc-search]
Thanksgiving Restaurant Fellowship Outreach will be on Thursday, November 27, 2025, including program, 11:00 am in sanctuary, followed by lunch in the church fellowship hall. Contact Pastor Charles or Feimin Zhang if you can help with preparations.
Christmas Ministry to reach Children with gospel message More than 125 shoeboxes have been prepared to take to the drop-off point this week to be delivered to children around the world who do not know Jesus. Many thanks to all who donated items and packed boxes, especially to Grace Chen and Jason Lee for leading the project. You may still help with Operation Christmas Child by donating money for shipping fees by submitting a check to CCC earmarked for shoebox ministry.
Poinsettias may be ordered for display on the altar on December 21 or for distribution to a shut-in. Please complete a form found in the literature rack and turn in with payment of $11 each in the offering bag or the church office by December 14.

● Please remember church staff in your prayers: Pastor Joanna Xu’s chemotherapy has brought her cancer marker number down, but she needs our prayers for increasing white blood cell count; Andre Manley who has been moved to Crescent Cities Nursing & Rehab Center for continued treatment and care, and Pastor Charles who is receiving eye injections for vision difficulty.
● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on the first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join as a church to pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. You may come any time during family for prayer in our next virtual meeting on December 2, 2025, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction. You may join anytime during the hour.

Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account (not a credit card) or using the PayPal Giving Fund. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be December 4, 2025. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.
