Prayers – July 20, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, LORD….
● for your forgiveness for things we’ve not done
● for coming alongside us when we’re weaker than we think
● for our daily bread
● for building your kingdom around us in spite of our lazy nature
● for choosing us to be your children
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● nailing our self-interests to the cross for the sake of others. Galatians 5:24-25
● responding to life’s situations through God’s frame of reference. Proverbs 9:10
● viewing every person as a valuable creation of God and working towards unity of purpose and spirit. Philemon2:2
● showing sincere love to one another as brothers and sisters. 1 Peter 1:22
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for Pastor Joanna and Pastor Charles to endure medical treatment with endurance and trust
● for leaders to speak and act with wisdom that comes from God
● for newcomers who visit DC for vacation, internships, school, or work. May they find a welcoming home at CCC.
● for renewal for those who will be going to the Summer Retreat
● for the children who will be attending Vacation Bible School in August
● for strength and hope for those affected by storms and floods

“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
感謝主……
● 主祢赦免我們那些我們未曾做到之事的虧欠。
● 主祢在我們比自己想像中更軟弱時，與我們同行。
● 主祢每天賜下的日用飲食。
● 主祢在我們懶惰本性中，仍在建造祢的國度。
● 主祢揀選我們成為祢的兒女。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。 我們若是靠聖靈得生，就當靠聖靈行事。（加拉太書 5:24-25）
● 敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端，認識至聖者便是聰明。（箴言 9:10）
● 你們就要意念相同，愛心相同，有一樣的心思，有一樣的意念，使我的喜樂可以滿足。（腓立比書 2:2）
● 你們既因順從真理潔淨了自己的心，以致愛弟兄沒有虛假，就當從心裡彼此切實相愛。（彼得前書 1:22）
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 求主扶持Joanna徐麗娟牧師與Charles辜漢然牧師在接受醫療治療時有堅韌的信心與信靠。
● 求主賜下從祂而來的智慧給領袖們，使他們言行合宜。
● 為來DC旅遊、實習、求學或工作的新人們禱告，願他們在CCC找到一個溫暖的家。
● 為即將參加夏令會的弟兄姊妹禱告，求主让他們心靈更新。
● 為將在八月參加暑期聖經學校的孩童們禱告。
● 為遭受風暴和洪水影響的人們帶來力量和希望禱告。
