Prayers – April 13, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
During this season of Lent, may we devote extra time in prayer, repentance, fasting and reflection on what Jesus has done for us in being our “sacrifice” for the atonement of our sins.
Thank you, Lord….
● Thank you, Lord, that you are constant, You never leave us. “Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
● Thank you, Lord, for every sunrise reflecting rays of gold on the house fronts
● Thank you, Lord, for being our headlight in the darkness.
● Thank you, Lord, for the kindness shown to us by strangers, revealing your presence when we least expect it.
● Thank you, Lord, for your patience in reteaching us your truths when we don’t understand the lesson the first time.
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Help us to have no concern for the uncertainties that lie ahead because we have cast all our cares on Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7.
● Help us to broaden our relationship with Jesus, not just to receive salvation from Him, but also to be fellow laborers with Him. 1 Corinthians 3:9
● Guide us to discipline ourselves physically, morally, and mentally, to do the work of our Father in heaven.
● On this Palm Sunday, we remember that you were cheered but later mocked by the same crowds. Forgive us when we often do the same, confessing one sin but hiding another, smiling in public but raging in private or loving God and money equally. We pray for integrity and joy as we place our hope in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● may our special times of devotion during Lent become a lifelong habit.
● for Official Board committees to gain clear understanding of God’s purposes in their tasks
● for those continuing to live in environments of war and strife
● for those planning for Summer Programs – Summer Retreat and Vacation Bible School
● that those recovering from health issues
● for those experiencing job stress -loss, search, or change

“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
● 主始終不渝，祢從不離棄我們。『我豈沒有吩咐你嗎？你當剛強壯膽！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為你無論往哪裡去，耶和華你的神必與你同在。』約書亞記 1:9
● 每一個日出時分，金光灑在房屋前時彰顯著主的榮耀。
● 成為我們在黑暗中的燈塔。
● 在我們最意想不到的時候，陌生人向我們展現的善意彰顯了主的存在。
● 祢在我們初次不明白真理時，仍耐心一再教導我們。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 求主幫助我們不為前路的未知憂慮，因為我們已將一切掛慮卸給耶穌。（彼得前書 5:7）
● 求主幫助我們擴展與耶穌的關係，不僅為了接受祂的救恩，更願成為與祂一同勞作的夥伴。（哥林多前書 3:9）
● 求主引導我們在身體、道德與心靈上自我約束，以行天父的工。
● 在這個棕樹節主日，我們記得祢曾受歡呼，卻又被同一群眾嘲弄。求主赦免我們常常如此，明知揭露一項罪卻隱瞞另一項罪，公開微笑卻私下憤怒，或對上帝與金錢同樣執著。當我們把盼望寄託在我們的主耶穌基督裡時，求主賜給我們正直與喜樂。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 願我們在大齋期中的特別靈修時光，能成為一生的習慣。
● 願董事會各委員會在其工作中能清楚領悟神的旨意。
● 願那些仍生活在戰爭與紛爭環境中的人蒙主安慰。
● 願籌辦夏季活動──夏令會和假期聖經學校的人得到主的帶領。
● 願正在從健康問題中康復的人蒙主醫治。
● 願那些面臨工作壓力、失業、求職或轉職的人得到主的幫助。
