Prayers – March 23, 2025

Prayers

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

During this season of Lent, may we devote extra time in prayer, repentance, fasting and reflection on what Jesus has done for us in being our “sacrifice” for the atonement of our sins.

Thank you, Lord….

• that when the world is causing us despair, You give us hope that does not disappoint. Romans 5:3-35
• that You are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call you. Psalm 86:5
• that when we humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from sin, You will forgive and heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
• for daffodils dancing in the wind
• that You are my protector. Psalm 3:3

Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….

• Help us to be faithful in praying and trusting the outcome to our heavenly Father…May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10
• Teach us to help those who are hungry or thirsty which is a way of serving Jesus. Matthew 25:35-40
• Remind us of the value of studying Your Word, The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Psalm 19
• You who are an indescribable sea of love and the fountain of blessing, water our hearts with your grace that we may overflow with care for our neighbors and help them experience You, the Living Water, which can satisfy their parched souls.

 We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be               accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….

• that we never tire of doing good and persevering in our service to God
• for the physical, mental and spiritual health of our pastors
• for wisdom and insight for ministry leaders
• for those struggling physically, mentally, emotionally or financially
• for rest and rejuvenation for those able to take a spring break
• for those who are persecuted for their faith
• that families may live together in harmony, peace, and God’s joy

• 當世界使我們感到絕望時，主祢賜給我們不會讓人失望的盼望。羅馬書 5:3-35
• 主啊，你本為良善，樂意饒恕人，有豐盛的慈愛賜給凡求告你的人。詩篇 86:5
• 當我們謙卑自己，禱告，尋求祢的面，並轉離罪惡時，主祢必赦免並醫治我們的土地。歷代志下 7:14
• 為風中舞動的水仙花。
• 主祢是我的保護者。詩篇 3:3

主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…

• 求主幫助我們在禱告中保持信心，並將結果交託給我們在天上的父……願祢的國來臨，願祢的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。馬太福音 6:10
• 教導我們幫助那些飢餓或口渴的人，這是服侍耶穌的方式。馬太福音 25:35-40
• 主提醒我們讀祢話語的價值，耶和華的訓誨是完全的，能甦醒心靈；耶和華的法則是可信的，能使愚昧人得智慧；耶和華的命令是正直的，能使人心歡喜；耶和華的道理是清晰的，能給人生活的見識。詩篇19
• 主是無法形容的愛的海洋，是祝福的泉源，求主以祢的恩典澆灌我們的心，使我們能夠滿溢關愛，求主幫助我們的鄰舍經歷祢這活水，能夠使他們乾渴的靈魂得著滿足。

我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。

• 願我們不疲倦行善，在服侍神的事上堅持不懈。
• 為我們牧師的身心靈健康禱告。
• 為事工領袖的智慧與洞察力禱告。
• 為在身體、心理、情感或財務上掙扎的人禱告。
• 為能夠享受春假的人，禱告得到休息和恢復。
• 為因信仰而遭受迫害的人禱告。
• 願家庭能夠和睦同住，享受和平與神的喜樂。
