Interested in Baptism or Church Membership?  If God is leading you to join the CCC family, please let one of the pastors know.  Classes for baptism preparation and/or membership are being scheduled now.

Chinese Spring Retreat at CCC, April 27-28, 2025.  “Choosing Decisions that Honor God”.  The retreat will feature both Mandarin and Cantonese.  Topics include “The Entrapment of Power,” “The Wait in the Wilderness” and “The Surrender of Self.”  The speaker is Elder Dr. Eddie Chang from the Chinese Bible Church in College Park.  Lunch included.  See flyer.

Easter Lily Orders for the altar and to deliver to shut-ins on Easter are being received now.  Please return a completed form found in the literature racks and payment of $15 per plant to the church office or in the offering collection. Deadline is April 13.

2025 US Capitol Bible Reading Marathon, Sat Apr 26, 2025 – Wed Apr 30, 2025, West steps of the US Capitol Building, Washington D.C. Come join the effort to publicly read God’s Holy Word on the steps of the national and state Capitols, every year, for ninety consecutive hours.  Pastor Charles has signed up for April 27 to read from 12:45 pm – 1:15 pm and 10 pm – midnight.  Please contact him if you would like to join – read in any language – or sign up for your own convenient time at http://www.capitolbrm.org/

  • Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join together as a church family for prayer in our next virtual meeting on April 1, 2025 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God.  There should be no explanation or self-introduction.  You may pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. You may come any time during the hour.
  • Mandarin Prayer Meeting and Bible Study, Tuesdays, 7 pm on zoom.
  • Cantonese Prayer Meeting, Wednesdays, 7:45 pm on zoom.

Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services.  Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund.  Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be April 3, 2025. Translators are provided.  You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

Community Services Classes on Zoom:  English as a Second Language Class, Tuesdays @ 6 pm; Citizenship Classes, Saturday mornings on zoom. Contact Chinatown Service Center for changes to schedule or to register and obtain the meeting link: 202-898-0061.

CCC舉辦中文春季退修会，2025年4月27日至28日。主题：“合神心意的選擇”。退修会将同时提供普通话和粤语。讲题包括 “权力的陷阱”、“荒野中的等待”和“自我的降服”。讲员是来自College Park华人圣经教会的张长老博士。包括午餐，请参见传单。

复活节百合花订购，现在开始接收。百合花将用于祭坛及送给病床上的弟兄姐妹。请填写在文献架上找到的表格，并将每株15美元的花卉费用和表格交回教会办公室或放入奉献箱。截止日期为4月13日。

 2025年美國國會聖經誦讀馬拉松 時間：2025年4月26日（週六）至2025年4月30日（週三）地點：華盛頓特區美國國會大廈西側台階。來參加這項在國家和各州議會台階上公開誦讀上帝聖言的活動，這項傳統每年持續進行，連續誦讀九十個小時。Charles 牧師已經報名在4月27日誦讀，時間為下午12:45至1:15，以及晚上10點至凌晨12點。如果你希望參加（可使用任何語言誦讀）或希望在方便的時間報名，請聯繫他，或在 http://www.capitolbrm.org/ 註冊。

法律咨詢：服務中心配合亞美法律資源中心在每個月有提供一次法律咨詢，下次在4月2日。現場配有翻譯。需要服務者必須打電話202-898-0061或送電郵到csc.coordinator@cccdc.com提前向服務中心確認日期和預約。預約時將會提供详細信息。

服務中心提供英文課和公民考試課：英文課的時間逢星期二下午6點至7點，及公民考試課程逢星期六早上9点至10点在Zoom上舉行。請撥打服務中心電話202-898-0061查詢課程時間、登記注冊和獲取課程鏈接。
