Prayers – October 13, 2024
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● that when we pray to you, we experience joy and freedom from fear. Psalm 34:4-5
● for new believers You have led to your fold
● that your love for us is so great, we cannot measure or comprehend. Romans 5:8
● for gifting our church family with different talents so that we can accomplish more
● that You accepted Jesus’ payment for our sins by raising Him from the dead: “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification” Romans 4:25.
● for tireless efforts of our missionaries to demonstrate the love of God
● for the hard work and dedication of kitchen volunteer who keep us fed.
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● that we don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:16
● teach us that “waiting patiently” means continuing to pray and obey, not do nothing
● help us fight back against the lies of the devil trying to make us feel insecure and worried about the events of the day or our future. Remind us that You are more powerful than evil and will keep us protected.
● may God consider us his good and faithful workers as we strive to tell others the truth about Jesus
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those mourning the loss of loved ones
● for those experiencing devastation from hurricanes and tornadoes
● for those preparing for baptism
● for our children to be patient enough to consider options before they act
● for those with ongoing health issues

• 主祢對我們的愛是如此偉大，無法衡量或理解。《羅馬書》5:8
• 為主賜給教會中各家庭不同的恩賜，讓我們能夠成就更多。
• 為廚房義工們辛勤的工作和奉獻，讓我們得以飽足。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 幫助我們不忘行善，並與那些有需要的人分享，這些都是神所喜悅的祭物。《希伯來書》13:16
• 教導我們「耐心等待」意味著持續禱告和順服，而不是什麼也不做。
• 幫助我們抵抗魔鬼的謊言，這些謊言讓我們感到焦累，擔憂今天或將來的事情。提醒我們，祢比邪惡更有力量，並能保護我們。
• 當我們努力向別人講述耶穌的真理時，願上帝看見我們是良善又忠心的工人。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 為那些哀悼失去親人的人。
• 為那些準備受洗的人禱告。
• 為我們的孩子們能夠在行動前有足夠的耐心來考慮選擇禱告。
• 為那些持續有健康問題的人禱告。
