September 29, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for the beauty of a sunrise filling the sky in vivid colorful light.
● that we can see You at work in different environments
● for new acquaintances
● that you work out all details of our day even though what we see as setbacks are really part of your plan to build our character
● for our church which teaches us about You and your plan for our eternity
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● lead us to trust Your plans and reassurances given in Habakkuk 1:5, Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.
● show us that we could lead contented lives: How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2)
● when we have sinned, may we offer You a broken spirit and repentant heart. Psalm 51
● teach us to consider what Jesus would do in all things, not just major decisions
● pray that we put our egos aside so that the Holy Spirit can work in us unimpeded
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those mourning the loss of loved ones
● for those facing difficult decisions to make
● for those suffering the challenges of growing older
● for those facing financial issues
● for those who are disillusioned by what’s going on around them

● 祢掌管我們每天的每個細節，即使我們認為的挫折，其實都是主為了塑造我們的品格而精心安排的。
● 有我們的教會教導我們認識祢，並了解主對我們永生的計劃。
主啊，儘管我們努力控制生活的各個方面，求主在我們裡面按你的方式行事, 求主引導我們變得更像耶穌…
● 帶領我們相信主祢的計劃，並相信主在哈巴谷書1:5中給的保證：「你們要向列國觀看，看啊，驚奇得發呆！因為在你們的日子，我行一件事，雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。」
● 求主顯示給我們看，如何過知足的生活：「不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位，惟喜愛耶和華的律法，晝夜思想，這人便為有福！」（詩篇1:1-2）
● 當我們犯了罪，願我們向主祢獻上破碎的靈與悔改的心。（詩篇51篇）
● 教導我們凡事都思考耶穌會怎麼做，而不僅僅是在重大決定時才如此。
● 祈禱我們能放下自我，求主讓聖靈在我們裡面自由運行。
我們為不只在教會的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為在教會外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
● 為那些哀悼失去親人的人祈禱。
● 為那些面對艱難抉擇的人祈禱。
● 為那些正在應對年老挑戰的人祈禱。
● 為那些面臨財務問題的人祈禱。
● 為那些因周圍發生的事情而感到失望的人祈禱。
