September 8, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for each new day we live to serve You!
● that You are never absent. You see and care about everything that happens in our lives.
● for peace in our hearts when our thoughts are filled with You. Isaiah 26:3
● for blessing us with grandparents!
● for being patient with us as we try our best to be like Jesus
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● We know our ways and thoughts are nothing like Yours. Isaiah 55:8. Help us to be teachable!
● Guide us to love each other as brothers and sisters. 1 Peter 3:8
● We are struggling with the brokenness we see in the world. May we resolve to pray fervently for healing.
● Help us to give God everything we’ve got. ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” – Matthew 22:37
● Draw our thoughts upward toward You every minute of every day. Help us to resist the temptation to focus on the painful things of this earthly life so that our faith and joy aren’t swayed.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those recovering from or anticipating future surgery.
● for those looking for satisfying work
● for those facing difficult decisions
● for families adjusting to new school and activity schedules
● for those who haven’t figured out the gift God wants them to use to be of ministry service

主啊，儘管我們努力控制生活的各個方面，求主在我們裡面按你的方式行事, 求主引導我們變得更像耶穌…
• 我們知道我們的道路和思想與祢完全不同。以賽亞書 55:8。幫助我們保持謙卑和受教的心！
● 求主引導我們彼此相愛如兄弟姐妹。彼得前書 3:8
• 我們為世上的破碎而掙扎。願我們立志熱切祈求主醫治。
● 幫助我們全心全意愛神。「你要盡心、盡性、盡意愛主你的神。」這是第一和最大的誡命。——馬太福音 22:37
• 求主時時刻刻將我們的思想引向祢。幫助我們抵制將注意力集中在今世痛苦上的誘惑，以免我們的信心和喜樂被動搖。
我們為不只在教會的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為在教會外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
• 為那些正在康復或即將接受手術的人祈禱。
• 為那些正在尋找滿意工作的弟兄姐妹祈禱。
• 為那些面臨艱難抉擇的人祈禱。
• 為那些正在適應新學校和活動安排的家庭祈禱。
• 為那些還未找到神要他們用來服事的恩賜的人祈禱。
