September 1, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for not only teaching us truths but for building our character, making us something through our circumstances
● for your promise that we are never alone – “For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
● for the joy that warms our hearts when we look into the face of a smiling child
● for a holiday to celebrate American workers
● for the goodness of summer harvest
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Guide us into the habit of sharing everything in our lives with You
● Help us discipline our minds to pray deliberately and willfully and not let our minds turn idle or wander.
● Guard us from spiritual attacks catching us unaware
● Help us represent You well in what we say and do, like Daniel, showing trustworthy and visible traces of integrity and devotion to Jesus
● Let us not fail to be kind. Ephesians 4:32
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those undergoing prolonged medical treatment or recovering from surgery
● for those in the middle of bitter and angry disagreements
● for our children to love the Word of God—be drawn to it—as a guide for their lives.
● for our missionaries and cross-cultural workers to have adequate resources
● Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:22

● 幫助我們訓練自己的思想，刻意和有意識地禱告，不讓我們的思想懈怠或飄移。
● 保護我們免受突如其來的屬靈攻擊。
● 幫助我們在言行中代表祢，像但以理一樣，展現出值得信賴且明顯的誠信和對耶穌的虔誠。
● 讓我們不失去行善的機會。以弗所書4:32
我們為不只在教會的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為在教會外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
● 為那些正在接受長期醫療治療或從手術中康復的人禱告。
● 為那些正在激烈爭吵中的人祈禱。
● 為我們的孩子愛慕神的話語——被它吸引——作為他們生活的指引。
● 為我們的宣教士和跨文化工人擁有足夠的資源祈禱。
● 主啊，願祢不變的愛環繞我們，因為我們的盼望唯有在祢。詩篇33:22
