August 11, 2024 Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
• for the majesty of each sunrise and sunset that passes before our eyes
• for your infinite and inexhaustible compassion
• for Jesus, who stands in the gap and allows me to pray directly to You, our Father
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
• teach us to act with wisdom and understanding and not hold people to a standard of perfection that only Jesus can meet
• help us to see people as You see them – forgiven and loved
• help us to take our stand against the devil and to protect ourselves with Your Word which provides a full armor.Ephesians 6:13-17
• help us to deepen our trust in You. We know You are trustworthy and faithful, yet we are prone to doubt and worry.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
• for those undergoing prolonged medical treatment or recovering from surgery
• for the children who have been entrusted to our care – Sunday School and Vacation Bible School students as well as those receiving our Shoebox gifts last Christmas
• for those affected by the hurricane and hot weather
• for those who have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus

儘管我們努力控制生活的各個方面，求主在我們裡面按你的方式行事, 求主引導我們變得更像耶穌…
• 幫助我們每天用禱告及和善,彼此鼓勵。
• 教導我們以智慧和理解行事，不要要求人們達到只有耶穌才能達到的完美標準。
• 幫助我們像祢一樣看待人——滿有寬恕和愛心。
• 幫助我們抵抗魔鬼，並用祢的話語保護我們，用祢的話語提供了全副武裝。以弗所書 6:13-17
• 幫助我們加深對祢的信靠。我們知道祢是值得信賴和忠誠的，但我們還是容易懷疑和擔憂。
我們為不只在教會的兄弟姊妹禱告，也為在教會牆外的弟兄姊妹禱告，祈求主的良善和完美的旨意得以實現，即使我們可能不理解過程或結果……
• 為那些正在接受長期醫療治療或手術康復的人。
• 為那些被託付給我們照顧的孩子。主日學和暑假聖經班的學生，以及去年聖誕節收到我們鞋盒禮物的孩子們。
• 為那些受颶風和炎熱天氣影響的人。
• 為那些還沒有聽到耶穌福音的人。
• 為那些焦慮或被煩惱壓迫的人。
