“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, that when we delight ourselves in you, you give us the desires of our hearts. (Psalm 37:4).
  • Thank you, Lord, for being by our side during the season of Lent just passed. Help us to continue to reflect, repent and continue to please You in our daily living beyond these forty days.  We have learned You are just a whisper away.
  • Thank you, Lord, for the new heart and new spirit we’re ready to receive from You. We trust You to remove our hearts of stone and replace them with hearts of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
  • Help us to be a different kind of Palm Sunday people than in Jesus’ day, not superficially joyful, but the kind that weeps for all those who do not yet know the endless hope and peace that faith in our Lord Jesus Christ brings.
  • We pray for those preparing for baptism and membership in the church.
  • We pray for those in mourning. Help us to remember we will be united with our Christian brothers and sisters in eternity.
  • We pray for those on vacation or spring breaks.
  • We pray for those sharing Christ around the world. Although we may not be called to cross the seas, teach us to support those who do with our prayers and finances, and give us the courage to cross the room, the street, or the community, to give people the greatest help of all—the opportunity for forgiveness in Jesus’ name.
  • We pray for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, relationships, and financial turmoil – You are never too busy to listen and respond to any thing in our hearts.
  • We struggle, Lord, when the day’s agenda seems too big to tackle. Help us to sort out what is needful.
  • Remind us of your promise that we can always count on you for help: The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a place of safety in times of trouble. Those who know you, Lord, will trust you; you do not abandon anyone who comes to you. Psalm 9

“又要以耶和華為樂，他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。” 詩篇37:4

  • 感謝主，當我們以耶和華為樂時，祢就賜給我們心裡所求的。（詩篇37:4）
  • 主啊，感謝祢在剛過去的這個大齋期期間與我們一起。幫助我們在這四十天過後每天繼續反省、悔改並討神的喜悅。我們知道你離我們只有耳語的距離。
  • 主啊，感謝祢，我們已準備好接受祢賜給的一個新心和新靈。我們相信祢會除掉我們的石心，代之以肉心。以西結書 36:26
  • 幫助我們作為與第一個棕枝主日那天不一樣的人群，不是表面的喜樂，而是為那些還未知道相信主耶穌基督所會帶來無盡之盼望與平安的人而哭泣。
  • 我們為準備接受洗禮和加入教會的人禱告。
  • 我們為哀悼的人們祈禱告。幫助我們記住，我們將與其他主內的弟兄姊妹在永恆中複合。
  • 為在假期或春假中的人禱告。
  • 我們為在世界各地分享基督的人們禱告。 儘管我們不一定會被召喚跨海越洋，但教我們以祈禱和財務來支持那些被呼召的人，並給我們勇氣走過房間、街道或社區，去給人們一個最大的幫助——奉耶穌之名得到赦免的機會。
  • 為正在經歷困難時期–健康、經濟和財務動盪–的親友禱告－主祢永遠不會太忙而無法傾聽和回應我們心中的任何事。
  • 主啊，當一天的任務似乎太多會使我們掙扎著如何處理。幫助我們決定什麼是必須的。
  • 提醒我們隨時可以依靠祢給予扶助的應許：耶和華又要給受欺壓的人做高臺，在患難的時候做高臺。耶和華啊，認識你名的人要倚靠你，因你沒有離棄尋求你的人。詩篇 9:9-10
