“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

• Thank you, Lord, for the lunar new year, a second opportunity to look at ourselves and deal with character flaws – envy, laziness, or pride – that may prevent Your grace from working in us.
• Thank you, Lord, for the many “wonders” that we’ve had the privilege to see. Remind us that they are just a fraction of your power because you can do anything, even change us.
• Thank you, Lord, for families. Help us to support one another.
• Lord, help us to be ready with patience and gentleness whenever anyone asks about our hope in Jesus.
• Teach us to take steps that glorify You with love for both You and your people. Keep us from watering down Your word to suit ourselves but instead change us to suit your word.
• We pray for our church – may You give us spiritual wisdom and insight that we might grow in knowledge of You and know how to serve.
• We pray for comfort and peace for those who have lost loved ones.
• We pray for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, and financial turmoil – help them to know the protection and comfort of Your rod and staff. Psalm 23:4
• We struggle, Lord, with loving our brothers and sisters when they don’t agree with us or have done something we don’t approve of. Help us to love freely as Jesus did and follow your command to love: whoever loves God must also love his brother.1 John 4:21
• Let us think about your promise to be our constant companion: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

• 主啊，感謝你在農曆新年給我們再一次機會審視自己並操持性格上的缺陷——嫉妒、懶惰或驕傲——這些缺陷或會阻止你的恩典在我們身上行事。
• 感謝主讓我們有幸看見許多「神蹟」。提醒我們，它們只是你力量的一小部分，因為你無所不能，甚至改造我們。
• 為我們的家庭感謝主。幫助我們互相扶持。
• 主啊，每當有人問到我們對耶穌的盼望時，幫助我們準備好忍耐和溫柔。
• 教導我們以緩緩實踐對祢和祢的子民的愛來榮耀祢。阻止我們為了迎合自己而淡化祢的話語，反而是要改變自己以切合祢的話語。
• 為我們的教會禱告－願祢賜給我們屬靈的智慧和洞察力，使我們能夠更加對祢認識並知道如何事奉。
• 為那些親友剛離世的人祈求安慰與平安。
• 為正在經歷困難時期–健康、經濟和財務動盪–的親友禱告—幫助他們知道祢的杖、祢的竿的保護和安慰。詩篇23:4
• 主啊，當我們因為和弟兄姊妹的意見不一或他們做了我們不認同的事情時，我們就感覺很難去愛他們。幫助我們像耶穌一樣無條件地愛，並遵守你愛的誡命：愛神的，也當愛弟兄。約翰一書4:21
• 讓我們思想你是我們恆在的同伴的應許：我豈沒有吩咐你嗎？你當剛強壯膽！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為你無論往哪裡去，耶和華你的神必與你同在。」約書亞記1:9
