“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, for shining Your light into our lives. Fill our hearts with Your love so that we can share it generously with those around us.
  • Thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit placing and activating the nature of God within us. Humble us to receive this gift.
  • Thank you, Lord, for reminding us in this season of Advent of the peace we have with You because our sins have been forgiven: “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us….And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace….. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!” Isaiah 9:2, 6-7
  • We think of those devastated by war, those rebuilding lives and homes, the children who are starving, folks who have no hope – and we commit all of them to God’s care and plan.
  • Renew our minds with your Word: So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” And the man jumped up and went home! Fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen. And they praised God for giving humans such authority. Matthew 9:6-8
  • We pray the Queen Esther Drama will accomplish God’s purposes for the community and thank God for the opportunity to work together in this ministry.
  • We pray for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, and financial turmoil – that you give them patience, perseverance and your presence to see them through.
  • We are struggling Lord with the cold and dark of winter days. Warm our hearts with Your Word and focus on what You have called us to do.
  • Forgive us, Lord, when we let the man-made sounds and sights of Christmas replace the star that leads us to salvation in Jesus.
  • We pray for our children to know the love and faithfulness that comes from God and as they grow share these virtues with others.
  • Let us think about your promise of Your presence.  “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. John 14:16

  • 我們想到那些飽受戰爭蹂躪的人、在重建生活和家園的人、饑餓的孩子、沒有指望的人——我們將所有這些人都交託給主的關顧和旨意。
  • 用祢的話語更新我們的意念：但要叫你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：『起來，拿你的褥子回家去吧！』那人就起來，回家去了。眾人看見都驚奇，就歸榮耀於神，因為他將這樣的權柄賜給人。馬太福音9:6-8
  • 我們為《以斯帖王后》戲劇能夠實現神對社區的旨意禱告，並感謝神給我們在這個事工中合作的機會。
  • 為正在經歷困難時期–健康、經濟和財務動盪–的親友禱告。求主給予他們忍耐、老練和祢的同在以幫助他們渡過難關。
  • 主啊，我們因為寒冷和黑暗的冬天而在掙扎。用祢的話語溫暖我們的心，並專注於祢呼召我們去做的事情。
  • 主啊，寬恕我們讓聖誕節的人造聲音和景象取代了那顆引導我們到耶穌裡得救的星。
  • 祈求我們的孩子能夠認識到來自神的愛和信實，並在他們成長的過程中與別人分享這些德行。
  • 讓我們思想神與我們同在的承諾。我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師，叫他永遠與你們同在。約翰福音14:16
