Enter his gates with thanksgiving;   go into his courts with praise.   Give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

  • Lead us, Lord, to have a thankful heart: Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill our lives. May we counsel one another with God’s wisdom and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to Him with thankful hearts.  And whatever we do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:16-17
  • Lead us, Lord, to have a thankful heart: For everything You have made is good and we should receive it with gratitude. 1 Timothy 4:4
  • Lead us, Lord, to have a thankful heart: Even when we have troubles and our faith is tested, we have an opportunity to develop endurance. James 1:2
  • Lead us, Lord, to have a thankful heart: It is what God desires of His children – “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus- 1 Thessalonians 5:18. God has given us so many gifts, we must remember our manners and thank Him!
  • Lead us, Lord, to have a thankful heart: Help us to use gratitude to change our perspective, magnify our blessings, direct our eyes to others rather than ourselves, and bring us Your peace. Psalm 9:1-2

I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart;
I will sing your praises before the gods.
2 I bow before your holy Temple as I worship.
I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness;
for your promises are backed
by all the honor of your name.
3 As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength. Psalm 138
