Prayers

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

• Thank you, Lord, for the warm sunshine on a cold, winter’s day.
• Thank you, Lord, that I feel Your Presence as I go about my day.
• Thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit who intercedes on my behalf with You. Romans 8:26-27
• Thank you, Lord, for helping me to see that You are bigger than any problem I face today.
• Thank you, Lord, for both good and bad days for each gives You a way to mold me into someone more like Jesus.

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

• Those with ongoing health concerns. Pray for the Lord’s strength..
• Those in nursing or homebound care
• For the COVID-19 vaccination process to run as efficiently as possible
• For recovery for those suffering from COVID-19. Pray for enough resources for care
• For the smooth transition to new national leadership during inauguration week.
• For those suffering the effects of winter storms
• For help to get to those who need it whether it be shelter, food, or peace in one’s heart
• For someone in our family or friend circle who does not know Jesus

Pray for CCC:

• To throw off complacency and determine to do a new thing for God this year
• For everyone to find a place to serve in CCC’s ministry (including prayer warriors and encouragers)
• For our missionaries as they plan and hope this new year will have fewer obstacles than last year which prevent the gospel from being spread. Pray for their safety, finances, and families.
• For our children as they adapt to new ways of learning, playing, and being with family. Pray that we may take every opportunity to teach them about the character of God.
• To make a habit of inviting someone to worship with us.
• Thank God for coworkers behind the scenes whose efforts make our ministries possible.

To Think About: Let us focus on the majesty and power of our Father, the one who created all things and has never failed to take care of us in the past, is continually with us in the present and will continue to love us into heaven in the future.  And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.. 1 John 5:11-12 This is but one place in God’s Word that He has promised us salvation from the law of sin and death.

感謝主每日同行：

• 感謝神讓我們在寒冷的冬日裏享受溫暖日光。
• 感謝主讓我覺得你和我一起面對我每一天的生活。
• 感謝神派聖靈保惠師照著神的心意堅固我們成聖的道路。（羅馬書8:26-27）
• 感謝主幫助我知道你超過我今天生活中的任何難題。
• 為每一個快樂和憂愁的日子感謝你，每一天都是你塑造我的方式，讓我成爲更像耶穌的人。

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

• 為身體有長期病痛的肢體有從神而來的力量禱告。
• 為老人院或居家需要特別看護的長輩們禱告，求神賜給他們仍然有平安和快樂的心。
• 為疫苗的處理過程得以有效進行。
• 為新冠病毒感染者的康復禱告，盼望有足夠的醫療救助資源。
• 為總統就職儀式禱告，願國家領導的權利交接平穩順利。
• 為因冬季暴風雪受影響的人們禱告。
• 為需要安身之處、食物和内心平安的人禱告，求神幫助他們。
• 禱告我們不信主的家人和朋友願意向神敞開心門。

為教會的需要禱告：

• 讓我們在今年甩掉自滿，決定為神做一件新事。
• 禱告大家在教會的事工中找到服侍的位置，包括成爲禱告的勇士和勸慰者。
• 為我們的宣教士在新一年的福音事工計劃中不再面臨像去年那麽多的阻礙；求助保守他們的安全、財務需求，求主也看顧他們的家人。
• 求主幫助我們的孩子們有能力協調學習、玩耍和與家人的相處；也求主幫助做父母的利用機會在主裏教育他們。
• 讓我們習慣邀請他人和我們一同敬拜神。
• 感謝幕後同工的努力，使我們的福音事工得以進行。

思考：讓我們注目於天父上帝的威嚴和大能，他創造萬物、從前一直看顧我們，現在仍然與我們同在，並將持續愛我們，直到將來我們進入天國。這見證就是神賜給我們永生，這永生也是在他兒子裡面。人有了神的兒子，就有生命；沒有神的兒子，就沒有生命（約翰一書2:11-12）。這是神話語中的一處應許我們脫離死亡和罪的律例。
