Prayers: July 19, 2020

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

  • Thank you, Lord, for miracles of healing.
  • Thank you, Lord, for lifting me up when I remember You are in charge. James 4:10
  • Thank you, Lord, for watching over all the seasons of my life.
  • Thank you, Lord, for the surprises You bring to my day.
  • Thank you, Lord, that nothing can separate me from Your love. Romans 8:39

 

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

  • Those with ongoing health concerns.
  • Those in nursing or homebound care.
  • That we be committed to doing our part in keeping others safe from COVID-19, even if it causes us a little discomfort.
  • That we may show God we are ready for shaping by approaching Him in humility.
  • That we make choices which draw others to God. May we be ready to share the reason for our faith in the midst of the turmoil of the world.
  • Those who are wandering and wondering without a clear picture of what the rest of the year looks like
  • That we may not be anxious about tomorrow for God takes care of all of them
  • That we may renew our strength because we hope in the Lord  Isaiah 40:31
  • That God will accept our prayers as offerings and answer with healing in our land 2 Samuel 24:24

 

Pray for CCC:

  • Pray that we praise the Lord as He deserves! Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting! Psalm 147:1 NLT
  • That God will help us clarify our vision and plans for the future
  • For wisdom and strength for our pastors leading us into spiritual battle and for us to keep using our most powerful weapon of prayer against the enemy
  • That our virtual Sunday School classes for children will continue to encourage their developing a personal relationship with Jesus
  • That we discern the best approach for continuing worship that is pleasing to God
  • That our Ministry Teams may persevere in their tasks despite the challenges of the pandemic

To Think About: In Proverbs, God’s guide to living, we are reminded that cool water is always welcome to someone who is weary.  May we bring life-giving refreshment of the Good News of Jesus Christ to all we meet.  Like cold water to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.  Proverbs 25:25 ESV

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

 

  • 為身體軟弱和接受治療的肢體，和為遭受新冠病毒感染的病人禱告，願主醫治使他們盡快康復。
  • 為老人院或居家需要特別看護的長輩們禱告，願聖靈的關愛、平安和喜樂與他們同在。
  • 願我們能承受一點不適而盡作公民的責任來一起抗疫。
  • 禱告我們可以行在神的眼前：我們已經準備好降卑自己，求神照著祂的心意重新塑造我們。
  • 讓我們選擇帶領別人到上帝的面前，在這個動蕩不安的世界，時刻準備好分享我們信仰的緣由。
  • 為那些對人生仍然感到迷茫和困惑的人禱告，願意他們的有生之年在耶穌基督裏有明確的人生目的。
  • 讓我們不要為明天憂慮，因爲神掌管我們的一切。
  • 因爲在基督耶穌裏有盼望，我們就能重新得力。以賽亞書40：31
  • 求主悅納我們的禱告如馨香的祭物，止住瘟疫、醫治這地。撒母耳記下24：24

 

為教會的需要禱告：

 

  • 讓我們將神當得的讚美歸給神！你們要讚美耶和華！因歌頌我們的神為善為美，讚美的話是合宜的。詩篇147：1
  • 求主幫助我們明確教會未來的異象和計劃。
  • 為牧者有屬天的智慧和力量禱告，帶領我們依靠禱告的大能，勝過一切惡魔，贏得屬靈征戰的勝利。
  • 願網絡兒童主日學繼續鼓勵兒童培養與耶穌的個人關係。
  • 為我們有能力甄別神喜悅的方式持續敬拜。
  • 儘管有疫情中的挑戰，求主保守個事工小組有堅强的毅力去完成他們的任務。

 

思考：上帝在箴言中賜智慧指導我們的生活，提醒我們要用清涼的水歡迎疲憊的人，也當把更新生命的耶穌基督帶給我們認識的每個人。有好消息從遠方來，就如拿涼水給口渴的人喝。箴言25：25

Share
